Remarks :

Eligibility for this course is higher secondary 12th examination pass out in science stream students are eligible for this course. There are national institutes and admission is based on JEE main examination rank conducted by NTA central government. Application available through counselling. Reservation applies for sc st and OBC students and also EWS reserve seats.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose these courses because I am interested in electrical engineering and this course is best for the electrical field so I choose to do these course. The faculty and students ratio is best because there is a top NIT in India. Teachers and faculties are also GATE level qualified and more knowledgeable there is a 4 year UG Degree course and exams are conducted in two-term in a year means semester system.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience :

There is a 4-year undergraduate degree course so 3rd year of students are eligible for campus placement and they start preparing for Interviews. Top electrical companies are visited in my college and they higher the students. Almost 30 per cent of students are placed in different fields and this is the best percentage according to placement. My plan after getting a degree preparation for an interview to get a job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

National institute of technology there is a top engeeneering institue and under the central government so fees hike depending on the cost of study and faculty based so all rights are reserved for the institute for fees hike or not policy. All scholarships related to reserved categories are available like Post matric scholarships. Central-level scholarship is also provided by the institute.

Campus Life :

Because all the students are related to the engineering field so festivals are also celebrated and more celebrated all popular festivals are celebrated in this institute in and more powerful way. In this institute have one library and have open to all the students admitted to this college. Also, provide free books for sc and st candidates.

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
