Underrated but the Best

Remarks :

The candidates belonging to the reserved category do get admission to the college hassle-free. The admissions process is fast and the teacher coordinators are very humble. They resolve the queries within a minute without being frustrated.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I love the backend working of the applications. The faculty-student ratio in our year is a bit more since the admissions processed are a bit higher. The teachers here are young and polite. They teach very well and do not build pressure while teaching. Instead, they are always motivating and encouraging. The term exams are held at the end of the semester and they are easy to pass since all of the syllabi gets covered in the class.

Placement Experience :

From the beginning of the third year, students can apply for off and on-campus placements. Since I am a beginner I don't know much about which companies actually visited for recruitment. The avg package varies from 3.5L h 5L per annum. And those who fail to grab these opportunities they are always taken by the professors and recruited to their friends' company. I plan to either pursue a Master's after completion of the course or would look for an off-campus placement at Google.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are several scholarships and awards for meritorious students. Also, if someone lacks financial needs they can anytime consult the professors or the counselling team. The fee is as per the Delhi University norms and hence college has no play in it.

Campus Life :

The availability of co-curricular activities in the college is vast. From NSS to NCC to Thirkan every group is just phenomenal. Annual fests are conducted every year with the presence of a celebrity star. The college infrastructure is well built and the classes are fully occupied with basic amenities. Social groups such as Eco environmental group, and Girl up everything goes hand in hand.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you want to choose a career in teaching so you should come to Delhi University. My course was Bachelor Of Science (Mathematics) Honours in Shivaji College . Because I wanted to pursue Master in Maths further. The quality of maths faculty in my college was good but if you want to pursue the same course, you should to try another college of DU like in North Campus or South Campus like Hindu College, Hansraj College Shri Venkateshwara College etc. Other courses like Bcom. Hons., BA(program) etc Course was good enough in mu College

Placement Experience:

3rd year students are eligible for Placements. But there is rationality in the Placements because the placement cell only focuses on some course that has a background in commerce and economics so the availability of placement opportunities is less for science students. Highest package from our college is 19.5 lacks and the median package is 6.4 lacks in 2020-2021. But if i talk about the electronics degree, there are very less opportunities in that particular field because its a 3 year degree in electronics so you are not either from B.tech or from diploma. It's a new course.

Placement Experience:

There's no placement in the Science field after doing a BSc in any course you need to do a master's to get a job. You can work and do job in the corporate field as a placement cell brings opportunities in fhis area. But if you want to earn direct after graduation goes for professional courses like BTech, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, etc. You can check the college placement cell Instagram page to know about the highest package.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement cell in the college and therefore the students have to find jobs on their own!! This is a drawback but because of the name and fame of the college one doesn't find it much difficult to do so!

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available for commerce students. Life Sciences does not have any campus placements. Commerce students get good placements from big companies at the very high package. We have a separate Placement Cell for this and also a Placement fair is held every year in which every student can take part. Life Sciences students prefer going for masters or for any government job after their graduation. Also, there are many jobs available for life science students in the private sector. We have jobs in chemical industries, medicinal fields, and research jobs. Life Science students always get an opportunity in science-related jobs. Most of my seniors went for them post-graduation. I am also planning for a government job after my graduation. Life Science students are also very active in internships.
