Remarks

The minimum eligibility to apply for M. A. Economics is to clear under graduation in economics from a recognized university. Selection is based on merit, community quota, SC/ST quota, Sports quota and also through management quota. The application forms can be downloaded online and can apply through Online through the college website. The application fee for UG is about 300 Rs (for general) and 150 Rs (for SC/ST) and for PG it is 500 (general) and 200 (SC/ST). Candidates need to bring all those necessary documents along with their admission forms for verification purposes.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because after gaining a master's in economics, I could be well equipped and eligible to prepare for and attend those tests and jobs I prefer. The college provides well-qualified faculties. There are enough lecturers and guest lecturers in every department. Most of them have doctorates and other high degrees. Some have even written some academic publications. Many of them have had years of teaching experience and they share a good bond with the students too. Different teachers have different methods of teaching and almost everyone considers the needs of the students and is even willing to bring about changes in their style. Course Curriculum is prepared according to the University of Kerala and UGC norms. As the college is having an autonomous status, the exams are conducted by the college itself following the university rules and regulations. Exams, both internal and semester are conducted regularly without fail and results to are published within a short span.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study in this college is not so high compared to many others. They have a fee structure that even allows for the poor people to afford it. Besides that, they provide many scholarships on certain criteria. I haven't received any such scholarship because I was a general candidate. But I do know many who study in college enjoying those scholarships and financial assistance.

Campus Life

4

Life on campus was a very good experience for me. It offers a calm and quiet atmosphere which is so soothing. The Co-Students, faculties and the college authorities have shown good treatment from their side. The College also hosts many events, cultural programs and fests department-wise, college wise and even at the inter-collegiate level annually. The College keenly promotes and encourages the extracurricular activities of the students. The library here is one of the finest in the district with a vast collection.

Placement Experience:

they do offer placements for both ug and pg. But For Pg Structured palcements are limited. For Pg students, especially in commerce and management placement oppartunites are offered. Companies like Federal Bank, Deloitte mostly offered. Since we had no placements, iam focusing currently on content creation and writing, actively working with online media due to my creative interest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got to know more about the rules and regulations, and functionality of my country during the course. the course teaches the structure of Indian democracy, its functions etc. It digs deep into politics of the country making sure that when students graduate they have enough info to face reality with politics for india. we learned about constitutions and structure of many major countries. Exams were conducted not according to the rest of the students for us. we had late exams and hence late results and late graduation. difficulty level of exams if you study well enough you can crack it. its theory based degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

The classes were conducted on planned and time keeping. Well covered syllabus before the university exams. Continuous evaluation and revisions on subjects made thr concept clear to a student. Timing of class hours is from 10am to 3pm around 3:30pm all students left the college after classes. There were three breaks for refreshing, i. e, for morning hour, lunch, evening hour breaks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is mainly based on contemporary relevant issues. Neither than a revised version our syllabus is mainly based on self thinking rather than spoon feeding. Most of the peoples in our syllabus are very related to the real world issue such as gender, environment problems, culture etc. In this curriculum provides are different Framework for us to look over the world. Is curriculum provides a different view and we have to change our perspective to look the world through which we study our papers. The areas of improvement on this curriculum is mostly the curriculum is only speaking from human perspective but we have to take the world as a whole. That is the only point of improvement that I can find out in this curriculum. We have three hours to complete a exams. The difficulty level of the exams is almost 8 in a scale of 10. I think a half an hour should be provide for students because sometimes we will be blank.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good. At some points, it needs revision. The subjects feel ancient. The teaching also need to be improved. The typical lecture method is very unhelpful. Instead they should introduce digital learning. Also the course lacks in-hand experience on the subject. Rather than the robotic manual learning there's no activity involved

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is great and it helps us to prepare for the real world applications and also for the further academic pursuits.By the materials for the syllabus were most not available so it was so difficult for us to prepare for the exams and also the faculty face it so hard to teach us without proper materials. Also the face difficulty in the question level as we are forced to write the exams without proper materials. Our exams were not properly conducted they have published the exam date all of a sudden eventhough we studied semester wise they conducted exams yearly and 1&2 semester together it had us so hard to prepare for exams. Also our valuation was not properly done so only fews percentage of the students were only passed in the exams. The carelessness of the authorities spoiled life of many students like us.
