Remarks :

In the admission process, more seats can be given for students in Tamilnadu rather than providing opportunities to other state students, and also some time can be given for the final year students to submit their mark sheets and provisional certificate.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since I was from the madras university for my undergraduate degree in bachelor of computer applications it was quite challenging for the first semester and from the second semester we understood the pattern and cleared my degree

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 23499 per year

Internships Opportunities :

One of my friends got to offer with Symantec and he was an intern for 6 months he was paid for 19 thousand and I worked on project automation of the college system using Php and My SQL, also developed an android app.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible from the 4th semester. A company called a code nation which offerd a highest salary of 21 lakhs per anum. Also many companies like Accenture, Cognizant,Go frugal and many other companies come for placements

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since I was in the reservation category the fee payment from my second semester was only 1rs. They also provided a yearly scholarship which was so useful for my studies and also I paid only 2500 for my semester exam fee alone.

Campus Life :

There are so many clubs there. My department information technology conduct a event called a Niral and we keep coding, game's and some other event and the participants are from different college's. Also each year there will be event called Techofes will be conducted which has varieties of events including dance shows and many celebrities come as a guest.

Interview Experience :

For joining MCA I wrote my Tancet examination and scored 37.5 marks and called for counseling. In the counseling, they just verified the mark sheets. Preparing for tancet I just go with the RS Agarwal aptitude book which helped me to clear tancet.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester the students will be placed in campus drive. The college placement team gets a lot of company placements. The companies are TCS, Infosys and so on. The average package is 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7-10LPA in our college placements.

Placement Experience:

For MCA , the internship season starts in the beginning of second year , many famous companies like Uber, GS, Visa ,KLA visit our college . The highest package in MCA placement is 52 LPA and median is 10 LPA. Many students get PPO from the summer internship. The placement percentage for the year 2024 is not that good , but NITT MCA holds a good record of top placements.

Admission:

The candidates need to fill an registration form for applying for the UG and the PG coursed offered in the college with the registration fee.The demand draft should be paid to the Alagappa University Karaikudi. The fee would be reasonable for the application. It has its own entrance exams for all the integrated and post graduate coursed with the personal interview and the group discussion.
