Remarks :
First of all, you need to me an intermediate pass to apply for this graduation course, application forms appear on the University of Allahabad's official website at the beginning of the academic year. You will have to give an entrance examination and admission will be granted only and only on the basis of merit in the entrance exam. After the entrance exam, the University will publish the selected student's list.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course and curriculum of the course are so well designed and structured that it covers almost all the realm of journalism be it photography, videography, the Indian government, economy, understanding news, or anything else. It will not only make you learn about journalism but instead will make uh grow as an individual. Talking about faculty, so the faculty is not up to the mark as there are not enough professors, and the authority often invites visiting faculty for lectures. The teaching method is quite advanced as they allow students to work on high-end equipment.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internship programs here in college but you will have to get an internship during the last semester of your course as it accounts to marks in your final semester. Seniors here can help you locate some good internships but other than that there is no any set authority for the same.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You'll eventually have to pay around 126000 for this entire course of three years as the fees of a year is 42000 with 27000rs fees for even semesters and 15000rs fees for odd semesters. If your family income is below 1lac then you can also apply for UP scholarship and you'll get back around 20-30 thousand rupees back as your scholarship.
Campus Life :
Life here at the campus is very soothing. The touch of student politics adds an extra flavor to it. Students here are quite involved in the student politics and they are often seen indulged in protests and all. We have got wifi in our complete campus. The campus holds extremely rich library and playing grounds. Other than that, there is no light life here in prayagraj so one can only sleep during the night. Talking about the hostels, one can enjoy the real essence of life here in university hostels.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel life here is full of excitement and thrill. Hostels are also granted on the basis of merit and distance from the University. As per your selection and seniority, you are granted single or double room. The food provided here is belly-filling as well as tongue satisfying. You can also rent rooms nearby but that won't give you that essence that hostel does.
