Remarks :

The aura is really positive and you will have good vibes. Everything is perfect about here. You have guidance and you can explore your interests while studying. You don't have to all the things at the same time.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is really good and it covers all the fields of English including Drama, Poetry, Prose, History of English Literature plus the Non Teaching credit course helps in research and enhances knowledge. The exams are not that frequent, provided with appropriate preparation leaves. The exam structure is average, given three hours to attempt 8 questions in all with different marks.

Placement Experience :

The placements and job offers are available in course like B.Com, BBA etc but not in our courses. We can apply to internships on our own but college doesn't provide it for our course. Teachers help us in applying for internships online but that's about it.

College Events :

There are many college events. Sangathan being the main of them all. It's the Sports event which lasts for about a month and consists of different sports like athletics, football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, kho-kho etc. Other than that the annual college fest i.e. Amiphoria is held every year. It's a 3 day fest which includes cultural programs and events like modelling, dance, singing etc. Then there are international conferences and guest lectures.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fre structure is quite feasible. My course has 35,000 per semester and there are 6 semesters in total. Other than that Hostel fees is 65,000 p.a. plus 10,000 security which is returned. If you stay in hostel then you have to pay mess fees every month which is about 3500.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarship I know of is based on the percentage of 12th. I got 95 in english and got 20% scholarship. There are students who have availed 100% scholarship also. But you have to maintain your CGPA to keep it going. Otherwise it discontinues.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities are good. There are a large no. Of varieties. Starting from sports, there is every kind of sport available and facilities are provided for them. There are cultural societies of every department which holds events almost every month which includes open mic, debates,poster making etc. Other than that there is a dramatics club which hosts plays and nukkad nataks.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel Infrastructure is quite good. The rooms are on sharing basis. One room is shared by 2 people and a lobby has 3 rooms with common washroom and bathroom. You have to pay extra if you want AC rooms otherwise everything else is provided. There is canteen in hostel which is open till 12. If hostel seats are few there are PG's nearby only. They take about the same rent which totals to 75,000 a month.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The college seniors are really helpful. They help us in our subjects and exams and tell us how to frame answers in a better way. They are always there to help. They also introduce us to cultural clubs and events.

Admission :

I had to undergo an online interview to get admission in this college. They require your 10th and 12th marksheet and admit you on the basis of your knowledge. I was always interested in English that is why I Choose it to explore its depths.

Faculty :

The faculty is highly qualified and is an epitome of knowledge. They really teach well and make even the boring subjects interesting. They give assignment so that we can learn better and help us grow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Amity online university study while working

Placement Experience:

After completion of the 5 semesters, they provide us with opportunities to be able to start various virtual job fairs and assistance in many renowned companies like Sony, Samsung, Adobe, ESPN, Etc with packages starting from 6-7 lacs to 12 -15 lacs per annum depending upon the student. After this, I am planning to go for an internship if I get the opportunity from the college in some media company and after that, I'll look for a job and also I am thinking to further do master's with the same college
