Remarks :

All I can say that our college is an all rounder, as it is providing every aspect the student need. The most important is study and I can proudly say that It can compete Big college in the country.Yes we have some drawback like hostel, campus etc and the college is trying overcome fro all these.

Entrance Preview :

Odisha-JEE with rank 942 in all department and 250 in computer science.Our college is a Govt. Institution under BPUT, Odisha and apart from that it is having a good academics in post graduate education.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As per our course of studies we are doing our research work still our college encouraging students to participate in different activities like incubation, organising seminar on different topics, attending different conference etc.

Internships Opportunities :

No, But it gives chance to interested M.Tech student to take class to the under graduate students. Our college is planning to make a start up in various research work within campus where students can utilize their intelligence and create some stipend for themselve.

Placement Experience :

Our college is having a good placement record as our MBA and MCA students got placed in different MNC's like MIndtree, Wipro, Reliance Retail etc.We are having a small campus so our college is poor in number of placement drive in our campus but our college provide help in getting an place in offcampus drives in different parts of our country.They are proving on an average of 3.2 lakhs per annum.

College Events :

Our college is good in all activities. We are having all types of celebration starting from welcome to new comers to farewell the final year student. Our college provide a good atmosphere to make all the arrangements for the events. We welcome the freshers, we celebrate our annual day with our achievement through out the year and we also give a farewell to the students who are going to complete their course.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of the college is totally decided by the university. It is not a static amount and the amount is different for different department.But the fee is feasible to the students of middle class family. As the students having different category other than General/Obc is providing with different scholarship as per the government of India.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is not much facility for scolarship provided by the college. Our university is totally responsible for the scholarships for students. The students from backward caste are getting educational scholarship. The GATE qualified students also getting scholarships.

Hostel Facilities :

Our college do not provide hostel facility for students. It is planning to provide hostels for girls from the coming year. And the hostel is near to the college. The student currenty studing staying in a hostel near to college privatly owned by some local member.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of our college is good in number and we are having get together at least twice a year. And there we get a chance to know about the thing which we should take care in college itself before going to outside.

Exam Structure :

As we are coming under BPUT, the exam pattern decided by the university itself. Our university makes a systematic pattern for the exam and it has great name for its discipline in our state.Labs are carried our every week in proper time table and are verified by externals from different colleges. Some Labs require externals from local colleges decided by the college itsef. But for other lab ortions the university declares the selected externals and they will verify the lab work.

Faculty :

We are having a group of faculty having doctorate in different subjects of computer science and some faculties are continuing their phd work and rest are post graduate degree.Most faculties are good in academics and covering the entire syllabus properly. They are also providing proper help for doing additional work like research work, seminar, labs, interviews etc.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear in campus placement drive after the 5th semester in B.tech courses while after the second semester in m.tech courses. I got the placement in IGATE solution with a package of 3.75 during M.Tech in 2010.

Mtech at VSSUT, Burla

Remarks:

Based on my Gate score, I opted this college. Since my requirement was a core branch and my future objective was to pursue a PhD so I went for this college where we had the flexibility to work on our domain with regular stipend from AICTE for Gate qualified students.

Admission:

No we were selected on th basis of our Gate score and academic credentials. Someone who doesn't have a valid Gate score could get admission without stipend provided that they have a sound academic career.

Placement Experience:

The average placement here is decent but the highest package always amazes us. This time it was 21 LPA which is pretty good. Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. Talking about the companies, you won't get to see companies like Google and Microsoft but companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant and Capgemini do visit the campus and offer pretty good packages.

A completely different world with every bit of spice in it.

Remarks:

As a pass out, all I can say is my 4 year in my UG college was nothing compared to my 2 year stay in NIT Rourkela. I made memories I will never forget, made friends for life, learnt from these genius professors and passed those goddamn exams! If you ask me to give ratings to this college, I will give 10 stars for the memories. Academics was strict as hell, we get lesser time for fun. But that made those fun times, precious.

The central library isn't have so much books it contains the old and these books aren't enough as compared to no of students. But the digital library is superb. 8am- 8pm open with high speed internet.
