NIT Arunachal Pradesh(Papum Pare) Review

Remarks :

I wanted to opt for the CSE program only so as per my interest and choice I was able to meet the NIT Arunachal Pradesh(Papum Pare) college cutoff marks and was also allotted the college during my JOSAA counselling. After clearing the JEE I appeared for the JOSAA counselling and filled the form as per my interest in CSE and was allowed NIT Arunachal Pradesh(Papum Pare). The admission process of the college was good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the college is as per the NIT I joined the college because it is a part of the NIT chain and NIT are very good for the CSE program. The curriculum of the college is to the point and is focused on the coding language. The faculty is experienced and well qualified. The faculty have proper knowledge of coding and computer language. The faculty of the college is not only cooperative but they are also very friendly events take part with us in the college events.

Internships Opportunities :

The only drawback I found is that the internship program of the college is just average but still I can say that it is a very good option for us as we are mostly freshers and the internship program help us to gain new working experience.

Placement Experience :

The placement off the college is just okay. In comparison to the many other NIT, the placement is just average. The college also manages to achieve a record of 60-70% of the placement records. The highest salary offer of the college is around 12 LPA and the average salary offer is around 7.50 LPA. But the college placement committee is working on the standards of placement quality I think that in upcoming years the placement percentage will also increase and as well as the placement standard will also increase.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides scholarships on merit and as well as to the SC/ST category the benefit is that for SC/ST the college fee is waived by 100% as per the MHRD guideline. There are several scholarship schemes like National Thermal Power Corporation- NTPC can be availed by SC/ST/PWD, For specifically ST, National Scholarships are provided by NIT AP, Scholarship for Diaspora children, Fellowship/ Award-ship to scholar, Merit cum means scholarships through which the college provides assistance.

Campus Life :

The college campus is still under construction but the college is established in a very good location around the mountains. The college has a library in which we can find all types of books from every stream in topics. The college has 24 hours of medical facilities available on the campus. The college campus is WIFI enabled. The canteen of the college is very good the food that they offer is tasty. The classrooms are decent and ventilation is proper.

Hostel Facilities :

The college hostel has a very decent facility but the facility that the hostel has are all good and properly maaneged. The hostel rooms are fully cleaned on every alternative day. The hostel food came to me as a surprise as the food quality was good and both veg and non-veg meals is offered. The dining hall is spacious and seating arrangements are nicely managed. The hostel is WiFi-enabled and with a high speed-internet connectivity.
