NIT Nagaland Review

Remarks :

NIT Nagaland is a good college and the college will compete with top colleges in upcoming years but a lot of improvement needed to be done. I was given a seat in the college through the JOSAA counselling and the admission process of the college is very smooth. To be part of the college one has to clear JEE exam and have to secure a minimum of 60% in 10+2.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the colleges is the latest and up to date. The curriculum was recently updated to meet the latest industrial norms. The curriculum covers all the basic and advanced concepts of engineering. The faculty of the college is quite cooperative and professional. The plus point of the faculty is that we can easily approach the faculty if we are unable to understand any concept and they also help us to understand the concepts very easily.

Placement Experience :

The placement of the college is average but it does not mean that one should not opt for the college. The college management is working on improving the placement standard of the college and in upcoming years we will see the placement packages of the college has increased. The highest placement package of the college reached up to 16 LPA in the average placement offer is around 8 LPA which is not too bad also.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides scholarships as per the MHRD guidelines and provides scholarships on a merit basis and SC/ST category scholarship program is also available. The college average course fee is around 5 lakh which is quite reasonable and the college average placement offer is around 8 LPA so the ROI is also good. One can also avail of the education loan facility and the admission department is quite cooperative during the loan process.

Campus Life :

The campus life of the college is good. The college seniors are quite friendly. The college follows a no-ragging policy very strictly and the college staff is also quite professional and very helpful. The college library is very well designed and we can find all types of academic books. The classrooms are also quite airy and spacious. The college has sports facility to like volleyball, basketball and badminton courts.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel life is good. The hostel rooms are properly furnished and have good comfortable beds, almirahs and study table in every room. The hostel wardens are also quite professional and the staff is also very cooperative. The mess food is average management need to look into it. The hostel bathrooms are also cleaned. The common room also has LCD TV.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For CSE, I choose this college. The girl's-boys ratio in our college is 1:3. To pass the exams is not that much difficult but getting a good score is quite difficult. The professors are friendly and they teach us very well.

St. Joseph University is located in Nagaland and has a beautiful study environment. To get admission, the student should have completed class 12 with at least 50 percent from any recognized Indian Board. Then the students will have to give the entrance exam and based on their merit in the exam they will be selected for the university.

Placement Experience:

St. Joseph University provides with very good education and also various skill development programs for the students. Admission:

I had to first write an entrance exam which is specific to engineering field. The ranks allotted on the basis of the exam got me into this college at the counselling. After which the process was very simple and I just had to report to the college with the required documents.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities we are provided are pretty good. Good amount of companies visit our college for placements. We are also trained very well for interviews and future job aspects which makes it easier to get jobs.
