Remarks :

The college was descent. The location of the college was good. My JEE score was not so high so I was allotted NIT Nagaland during my JOSAA counselling. I cleared my JEE and appeared for JOSAA counselling and the seat was allotted through the JOSAA. The college admission process was good as I have also applied for the SBI education loans also.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the college was good but the curriculum was a bit lengthy. The curriculum covers all the topics related to engineering. The faculty of the college is very good and cooperative. Faculty help us to understand all the concepts of engineering properly. 80% of the faculty have completed their PhD program and the rest of the faculty have completed master's degrees from a very good college in India. The faculty also gave good industry experience also.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 134000 per year

Placement Experience :

The college has to work a lot in terms of the placement standards. The placement quality of the college is decent. The college placement committee needs to improve the placement standards they should learn from the competition about the placement quality. The highest placement offer of the college was around 15 LPA and the average salary offer was 8 LPA which is quite low in comparison to other NITs of India.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college does not have any individual scholarships program. One can avail the education loan and the admission department is very cooperative during the education loan process why I am saying this because I have availed of an SBI education loan my loan was easily sanctioned.

Campus Life :

Teh ciolelge campus life is good. The campus is properly designed but it needs to be managed properly. The college provides all kinds of facility even sports facility is also available like volleyball and badminton court. The college library is small but we can find all kinds of books related to our domain and it is a very good place to enhance our knowledge. The college seniors and te staff is also very cooperative and friendly.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is nicely designed and the rooms feel quite airy it does not feel suffocated. The hostel is a very clean room and the bathrooms are cleaned on daily basis. The hostel mess food quality is very good. The wardens are quite professional and cooperative and the hostel staff is also very supportive. The hostel discipline is p[properly maintained. The hot water facility is available during the winter.

For CSE, I choose this college. The girl's-boys ratio in our college is 1:3. To pass the exams is not that much difficult but getting a good score is quite difficult. The professors are friendly and they teach us very well.

1:4 is the girl's boys ratio in our class. Mostly PhD scholars will teach the courses for exams end sem weightage is 50% and mid sem is 30% and internal assignment and quiz weightage is 20%.it is not much difficult to pass the exams.

St. Joseph University is located in Nagaland and has a beautiful study environment. To get admission, the student should have completed class 12 with at least 50 percent from any recognized Indian Board. Then the students will have to give the entrance exam and based on their merit in the exam they will be selected for the university.

Admission:

I had to first write an entrance exam which is specific to engineering field. The ranks allotted on the basis of the exam got me into this college at the counselling. After which the process was very simple and I just had to report to the college with the required documents.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities we are provided are pretty good. Good amount of companies visit our college for placements. We are also trained very well for interviews and future job aspects which makes it easier to get jobs.
