Remarks :

As per the MHRD guidelines, the college provides a complete(100%) waiver on tuition fees for SC/ST category I am from the SC category so the college best suits my preference. The college faculty is cooperative and B.Tech is the college flagship course and NIT college are itself very popular for engineering. The college is ranked among the top 20 NITs of India. To be part of the college I have to clear my JEE and appear for JOSAA counselling. I cleared my JEE and also was able to secure a seat in NIT Arunachal Pradesh(Papum Pare).

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of the college is as per the latest industry regulations. The curriculum covers all the concepts and points of civil engineering it gives us an insight into the construction analysis, geometric analysis the curriculum covers all the basic concepts in detail. The faculty of the college is quite cooperative and are very professional. The faculty is quite experienced and quite knowledgeable that are highly expert in their respective field.

Internships Opportunities :

The college internship is optional and if we want to complete an internship we have to at least complete 9-10 weeks of the internship program and have to submit a written assignment after completing the internship. The average stipend for an internship is around 36k.

Placement Experience :

The college placement is decent and still, the lot need to do to improve the standards of the placement. The placement offers of the college are low as compared to other NITs in India because the highest placement offer was around 123 LPA and the average salary offer was around 8 LPA. The management of the college is working on improving the placement standards of the college probably we see good placement offer in upcoming years.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides a 100% tuition fee waiver for SC/ST under MHRD guidelines but you should have relevant certificates and document/domicile to prove. The college also has several scholarship schemes like Scholarship on behalf of National Thermal Power Corporation- NTPC can be availed by SC/ST/PWD, For specifically ST, National Scholarships are provided by NIT AP, Scholarship for Diaspora children, Fellowship/ Award-ship to scholar, Merit cum means scholarships to know about the college scholarship eligibility one can easily visit the college official website.

Campus Life :

The college is located in a very good environment and the view is quite scenic but the campus is under-construction. The college seniors are very friendly. the college classrooms are spacious and ventilated properly. The college library is not too big but we have all kinds of books related to our domain and we can almost find all types of books and the library will also be renovated in the last phase of construction. The college labs are also going under renovation in upcoming years we will see a very good college infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities :

I was surprised by the facilities of the hostel as we have all kinds of basic and modern facilities. 24 hours of water and power supply. We have high-speed WiFi connectivity around the hostel campus. Both veg and the non-veg menu is available and must say that the food is quite tasty which most of us did not expect. The hostel rooms are fully furnished and properly cleaned. The hostel has an indoor games facility also.
