Remarks :
IIIT Manipur was one of the best decisions of my life. Admission to college is handled by JOSAA, and seats are assigned by JOSAA counselling. I passed JEE, but my JEE score was only average, and my academic record was equally mediocre, thus during my JOSAA counselling, I was assigned a seat at IIIT Manipur. The college's faculty is excellent, with much research expertise.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college's curriculum is meant to teach us everything we need to know about the coding language and to provide us with all of the fundamentals and higher levels of coding and programming. The curriculum is up to date and adheres to all industry standards. The college faculty is highly supportive and cooperative, and they provide us with a great learning atmosphere. The faculty members are not only Ph.D. holders, but also have extensive industrial and research experience.
Placement Experience :
The college's sole flaw is that, when compared to other IIITs, the college's placement rate is pretty decent as around 75% of the students get placed. The best placement offer is 18 LPA, while the average package is around 8 LPA. However, this is slightly lower than the rest of the IIIT colleges. The college's placement standards needs a little push.
Fees and Financial Aid :
Although the college does not offer individual scholarships, it does offer MHRD scholarships. There is also the option of taking out a student loan. The whole course fee is around 8 Lakhs, which can occur as pretty expensive for some students.
Campus Life :
The college's infrastructure is in excellent condition. There is high-speed WiFi available at the college. The classrooms of the college are well ventilated. The library is large, with all types of academic books from all domains available, as well as many bestseller authors' books. If there is a book that we want to read, we can place a request with the college librarian, and the books will be available within a few days. The administrative staff at the college is really helpful and cooperative.
