Remarks :

IIT Palakkad has lots of potential to compete with the top IITs of India that I realised after entering college. I have to clear my JEE advance exam and have to participate in JOSAA counselling I wanted to go for IIT Goa as it is nearer to my hometown but IIT Palakkad faculty knowledge and their experience attracted my attention that is why I changed my decision and went for IIT Palakkad which I did not regret.

Placement Experience:

The placements are more than decent as you get many opportunities to land a job before graduation. Provided you don't have backpapers which most companies wouldn't want in their candidates. Service-based companies such as TCS and Accenture take loads of students per year and pretty high-end companies visit too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum mainly focuses on the technical side of the subject being an engineering course. Mathematical models play a significant role in developing and extrapolating the syllabus to application level. Life sciences are also there as core subjects and electives in higher semesters. It heavily encompasses the general relevant technical aspects of modern biotechnology too.
