Remarks :

I had an aim to join the IITs after my high school graduation for my further engineering studies. IIT Indore, an established institute of research, excellent teaching and learning became one of my top preferences to study bachelor's in computers science. The application process became pretty easy since one can apply even via the online form on the official web portal of the university. Only the candidates qualified for JEE Advanced could register for IIT Indore. The cutoff for the same was the rank of 1219 in the general category for the computer science engineering program. The ones who qualified for the cutoff were further shortlisted on the basis of their percentage in SSC and HSC. All I could say is IIT Indore puts a heavy weightage on the JEE rankings and Board exam percentage. However, one shouldn't ignore their performances in sports and other extracurriculars to stand out during the admission procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum and the academic syllabus comprise theories, examinations, quizzes, and live projects. To elaborate, the syllabus includes topics like Programming languages and paradigms, Fundamentals of finance, artificial intelligence and machine learning, advanced database systems, ethics for data science, high performance computing architecture, applied mathematics for computer science, soft computing, human-computer interaction, big data systems, cloud computing, secured software design, and enterprise computing, applied machine learning, etc. We even had timely quizzes to brush up on our coding languages and it made it easy for us to ace the examinations. The professors here stood as not just teachers but mentors. The teacher-student ratio was 5:1.

Placement Experience :

IIT Indore saw a colossal placement rate of 95% in the year of my study. Companies like Amazon, Samsung, DE Shaw and Co., Code Nation, Gojek, Texas Instruments, Cisco, ISRO, Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, Gail India, etc. These companies recruited candidates for positions like Applications analyst, applications developer, cyber security analyst, data analyst, database administrator, Forensic, computer analyst, games designer, games developer, IT consultant, UX designer, Web designer, web developer, systems analyst, etc. The highest package offered was 29 LPA, while the average package stood at 16 LPA. The questions asked during the interview were about the topics I majored in, my soft skills, and the live projects I participated in, during my year of study.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

IIT Indore offers two types of scholarships. One is MCM called merit cum means scholarship. It is awarded to 25% of the students having an annual parental income of fewer than 6 lakhs. These students have their fees exempted. Over and above that, they even get a monthly allowance of INR 1000. Another scholarship is reserved for SC/ST castes. Students having parental income less than 6 lakhs, and lying under these scheduled castes are awarded a fee exemption. They also get a monthly allowance of Rs 250. Students not eligible for these scholarships can even apply for other scholarships provided externally or avail of a bank loan with a low-interest rate.

Campus Life :

I had a booming college life here at the IIT campus, where I kept myself occupied at one or the other activity and spent my time substantially. The campus has a huge central library called the learning resource center. It has more than 15000 books and subject materials. Moreover, the members can even have access to nearly 3800 e-journals. Not only that, they even had access to databases like ACM Digital Library, IEEE Xplore, Science Direct, Springer, etc. It houses a Gymkhana for the objective of fitness. Fluxus, a flagship socio-cultural program of IIT Indore, is held annually every year. It has amazing performances like the singing performance, of Salim Sulaiman and Shaan. Also, the university once invited Zakir khan for a stand-up comedy performance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science and engineering is the upcoming future and as we all know the first choice of the student is to choose CSE as there is a lot of job in CSE in upcoming days months years etc.All work shifted to digital that's why there is more need for software engineers. Here faculty members are good .They will support you in all kind of thing you need in learning but also Strict in case of any mistake and wrong things done .Teachers are well qualified and graduated from IIT, NIT and other famous named Colleges but all this depend upon you how you play your role. There is 200-300 students in the CSE branch and Competition here is good. Term examination occurs consecutively there is 3 exams in a sem and 2 practical paper exam and the difficulty is average and quality of questions is good you can learn more from them.

Remarks:

I chose this college because it has good placements. I developed interest in electronics in grade 11 and hence the course. It is a reputed college for years now having AA affiliation and NBA affiliation.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. We have companies like Dell, Endurance, Direct-I, Nokia, PwC, Robert Bosch, Epicor, Philips, L&T, Siemens etc. On an average, about 80 companies visit the campus every year. 82% of the people get placed in the campus.

Remarks:

Good college if you didn't got rank for NIT in mains exam.The extra assignment always fed, so I won't make any comments over these. Here you will get a decent college life but it can't be said about the nightlife of college, yaa there are some restrictions but it can be Avoided. Overall if you want nit or iit but felling short of marks, you can get here.

As I am new I this institute I don't have much knowledge about placement but I have a rough idea about it.after some research I found that the placements are really great. The highest package was also good ad the average package is also great. major 'it' companies like Google and Microsoft have come in the past also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose information technology. It is one of the courses which I want to study. The institute really focuses on the practical and labs and their management is also very good. Regular labs are held according to the assigned timetable. The researched field is always open for the students of this institute as it has the Ph.D. course as well. There are also other facilities that are required for starting a career in research.
