Remarks :
I was looking for a college with a good CSE program and a good research opportunity with a good placement record for CSE. I took the help of College Dunia and they checked my academic records and asked my preferences as per my requirements they referred me to MNNIT Allahabad. MNNIT Allahabad is the first college in India to introduce the CSE program. The college is among the top-rated institute in India in terms of Engineering and Technology. The college was as per my preference. I was lucky enough to meet the GATE cutoff criteria of the college. To be part of MNNIT Allahabad I have to clear GATE which I already did and should have a minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech and I secured 64% in B.TEch so in all aspects I was able to take admission in the college. The admission process of the college is smooth and hassle-free.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is the top-rated NIT of India. The curriculum is also top-notch that meets all the international industrial standards and norms. The curriculum is designed to not only teach us coding but to give insight and the importance of coding and technology in the modern world and its impact on day to day life of every human and the importance of technology in industrial development. The curriculum also gives ample opportunity for research work. The labs are fully functional and equipped with modern facilities and tools.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is part of the curriculum. We are eligible for the internship after completing the 1st year of our program. The college placement committee invites one of the best companies for the internship programs. The committee helps us to get good internships. The stipend for the internship ranges from Rs. 24000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/-.
Placement Experience :
The college provides good placement for the CSE program. The college has a 100% placement record. The college placement committee is very professional and they are experts in inviting good companies for placement round. The college placement committee also guides and helps us throughout the college placement round and make sure that we receive a good package. The highest for our batch was around 45 LPA and the average package was around 17.50 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, Myntra, Google, Infosys, Decathlon, Linked In, JP Morgan & Chase, Hero, Oyo, Infosys, etc visited our campus during the college placement drive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college provides scholarships on a merit basis. Scholarship for SC/ST/PWD is also available. Education loan facility is also available the college admission department will help you out during the education loan process. Campus Life :
The campus life of the college is fabulous and very energetic. The college organises a number of events and we always wait for the fests of the college fets like CULRAV and SWAGAT are the events to welcome the freshers in the college, and AVISHKAR is the technical fest where we get an opportunity to showcase your ideas. The college also organised quiz competitions, debate competitions, drama, arts and music competitions. The college library is full of academics and non-academic from various authors around the world and we are also provided with international journals. All in all the college provides a healthy environment for studies.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is well maintained and the rooms are very well cleaned and properly ventilated. We have to register for a hostel during the admission process. The mess food of the hostel is good but the drawback is menu is very limited to only some items. The hostel staff is very professional and cooperative. The hostel is full of all kinds of basic facilities and equipment as per our comfort.
Faculty :
The faculty of the college is very expert and experienced. The faculty members are of PhD level with industrial exposure which is very helpful to us. The faculty teaching methods are so good and simple that we are easily able to understand the complex concepts also. The faculty are masters in their respective fields.
