Remarks :

Good location friendly staff good staff good.extra curricular activities.have the right course that I choose.it's near to my place where I stay.and it has a good academic track record.the school campus is one of a kind in the heart of the city

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course syllabus was from Gauhati University. Industrial exposure was not provided. Only site visits were done. Faculties were some good as maximum were from Assam and Jorhat Engineering colleges. Male faculties were better at teaching and providing knowledge regarding the important subjects.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 500000 per year

College Events :

Only institution foundation day was held every year, and cultural festivals were held occasionally. Since the starting of the college, only one Event was held. Since, maximum students were around 200-250, college was not in favour to held fests every year and also the cultural festivals were not so big they were held in a conference room or so just not to incurr any extra expenses

Campus Life :

Wi fi.library.swimming pool and playground. It has a start of art library and laboratories.There are annual school city level sports meet where many school participate competing in various sports.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms were clean but hostel food was below average. Wifi facility not good as the college itself is in remote area, the cellular connection is also very poor inside the campus. The area is so remote that the local vehicles charge double the amount just to move 3km. Overall the campus is in a quiet place but only drawback is that connectivity issue

Arya vidyapeeth college life as a student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose philosophy as my major course as I want to learn about the things we experienced and the way they are the curriculum prepares me well enough to overcome in my day-to-day life I haven't faced any need for improvement in the teaching method. Exams were indeed a difficult task as a student, we hardly had a week to prepare ourselves for the examination.

Crisp college experience

Placement Experience:

Placements in this college is quite decent . Students are eligible to sit for placements at the start of 4th year The average placement percentage was 90 percent last year with max package of 52lpa and average of 16lpa (for cs) .Among core branches , the mech department is quite good offers good packages and also have great faculties .

Course Curriculum Overview:

About the course curriculum, I still wonder why they have to put science subjects on the course curriculum of arts students. They would say it's a basic course but it is definitely not. Those arts students came there to learn their main subjects. I think it is unnecessary to put sc subjects there plus it is not basic. Otherwise the main subjects' curriculum is pretty well organised and planned.
