Remarks :
You should have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in UG along with a 235 total score in NMAT as cut off and should have cleared the sectional cut off of all 3 sections of 76 marks, each. All the instructions are given on the NMIMS website, follow and the process will be smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in HR since I am a people's person. MBA HR from SBM NMIMS is one of the best options to boost my career and give me a headstart for my corporate career. Student faculty ratio is around 60:1. The faculty guides teach through case study methods, which clarify concepts, well.
Internships Opportunities :
100% sip's are granted to students. The process starts after 1st trimester and goes on till the end of 3rd trimester. The internship duration is 2 months in April and May after your 1st year ends. The highest stipend is Rs 1.5 lakhs per month and the average is 50,000-60,000 rs per month.
Placement Experience :
Final placements are 100% guaranteed. The highest CTC is Rs 23 lakhs pa and the average CTC is Rs 16 lakhs per annum. BFSI, FMCG, Pharma, Ed-tech, Consultancy firms, IT are the top industrial segments from where you can expect lucrative offers.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fee is around Rs 11,00,000 per year. It is quite expensive, however, I feel they offer value for money. Since the placements are also amongst the top B schools in India, you get a good ROI. Merit scholarship for top performers is another added advantage.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very excellent. There are several clubs, committees, cells that keep on conducting events, fests and competitions that keep you engaged throughout the year. Alumni cell, sports club, music club, dramatics club, etc are some of the examples.
Interview Experience :
There was a PI WAT round after shortlisting on the basis of NMAT score. WAT was for 20 minutes with a topic given on the spot. PI questions are not that tricky. They ask about aspects in your CV only with very few academic questions, so no need to stress about that.
