Remarks :

The application form can be found at the JOSSA website after seat allotment. For eligibility of course 75% in 12th boards and jee main clear is required. The admission process is simple. You have to report at the institute after seat allotment with original documents.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty members are good. The teaching method is also nice. Faculties members are well qualified and some of them are Ph.D. holders. Exams are held between every 45 to 60 days(Mid Semester and End Semester exams).

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 204000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are very few internship opportunities from college. Dell offered an internship this year with a stipend of 25000 and the role of software analyst for 25-30 seats. The internship selection process is a technical round and then a hackathon.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester(4th year). Companies like Dell, Tekion, Accenture, Infosys visited. The highest package offered is 25LPA for the 2021 batch. The percentage of students getting placed is 80%.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Approximate 105000 fees per semester including Hostel, Library and Internet services, Mess Charges, and other fees. Scholarships are there for students from different states, provided by their government.

Campus Life :

Campus life is so good. Advaita is the annual fest of the college. There are so many events held by seniors and some faculty members. Classrooms are well maintained with projector facility. There are many sports and extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are nice and maintained. The meal is not so good(you have to eat from outside or cook on your own). Hostel registration is at the time of admission. There are some PGs and apartments in the 1km range(near the college).

Review regarding Nalanda Institute of Technology(NIT), Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

Students are available from 7th semester for their placements. This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Placement Experience:

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
