Remarks :

No bad remarks but those who came from outside kerala have face little bit partiality however its manageable no big issue languages problems for outsider is common.

Entrance Preview :

Cusat used to coonduct self examination called CAT (common admission test) every year in april-may examination pattern is similar to JEE but question level is lower and objective type ratio of question is 3:2:1 (mathematics:physics:chemistry).

Course Curriculum Overview :

B.Tech course curriculum is similar to iit you can download syllabus of each semester by Cusat website electives option start from 5th semester you have choices to choose electives among multiple options.

Internships Opportunities :

Placement cell uses to called category of company for internship. Students get selected through on interview and semester marks for computer science, safety fire, mechanical electronics have lots internships opportunity inside and outside campus stipend varies 10000 to 35000.

Placement Experience :

All those who have no backlog used to get placed lots of companies,few reputed among is Microsoft, google, oracle, IBM,broadcom, Cisco,etc you can check out placement page of college average package according to placement cell is 4.25 lac apart from software ongc, iocl, l&t, hpcl, bpcl used to visit for safety fire and mechanical students.

College Events :

Vipanchika, spleder and each department have used to celebrate its own fest to represent his department strength and innovation kerala is obviously rich in culture, in cultural fest you can see kathakali dance and lots social, drama, music perfromed by student and outside participants.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee is very minimal you have pay 18000 per semester and no extra fee will be charged by college administration even placement cell will not charge any single rupees however students have options to donate in placement cell so they use money to improve internal management.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Few schlorships are available but only for sc, and obc every PSU bank have no problems in providing loan even in counselling time they used to assist for loan.

Campus Life :

Campus life is overall good gender ratio is 60:40 (male,female) those who is from outside kerala can experience rich culture of kerala hindu mulslim and Cristian were have majority.

Hostel Facilities :

For south indian hostal is good but north indian its difficult to manage so they used to rent flats by sharing of 4 students usually in hostel, one room allotted for 2 students hostal mess is for south indian students so if any north student willing to li

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni networks are divided by branches each branch have stronge alumni network however they are connected to common network all alumni are connected with social and direct networks.

Exam Structure :

In each semester you have to face three examination two internal (half half syllabus) and one external examination labs have also two exam two internal and one external however internal marks distribution is also depends up on attendance, assignment.

Faculty :

All permanent faculty is ok but temporary faculties have problems ecah semester you will get 2 to 3 temporary faculty.but onward 5th semester there is no temporary faculty. All permanent faculty have good knowledge about his subject few are extremely good

there are placements in every years but not every one gets it. because every one has less skills rather than coomparing their marks.becuase of their lacking of skills they have ended up being placed undeer companies which offer less salary.but some got good options also.and my collge is in a rural ares so not so many companies gets here

Pros and cons of NIT CALICUT

Placement Experience:

Qualcomm, ibs,Infosys etc visits. Highest package was 55 lakhs. Average package is 20 lakhs. Nearly 100 % placement in computer science engineering. After degree joining get a job through campus placement.

Remarks:

Good government University with better placement opportunities, infrastructure and good educational environment. Fee Structure is feasible and the university is stands apart.

Placement and job opportunities are fairly good in my college. A lot of good companies come for placement drives every year but it mostly depends on the student themselves. Companies like cisco,MuSigma, Goldman Sachs, Ernst and Young, Larsen and Toubro and many more come every year.
