Remarks :
The admission process was good. We had entrance exams based on our score in those and our board exams score we got our admissions. I got opt into Sathyabama university through fisherman's quota so the fee structure was less and quite affordable.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I did my mechanical engineering at Sathyabama University. Both theoretical and practical learning was good. The faculty was friendly and was always motivating us when it comes to learning. The knowledge that gained during the course of time helped me with my placements a lot. My course of learning was very interesting and easy thanks to the wonderful mechanical faculty.
Internships Opportunities :
I git placed in cognizant and did my internship over there with a stipend of 12,000/- during the course of time. The final projects are guided my the faculty and helped us with our innovative ideas. Sathyabama provides various companies that provide internships with a paid stipends.
Placement Experience :
When it comes to placements Sathyabama provides various core and IT companies. Placement classes and training are provided during the final year of our studies. Since I got stuck in the covid batch there were not many of the core companies that we're there for our placements so I had to choose IT over it.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for Sathyabama varies usually it's around 3.5 lakhs a year but it varies for scholarship students. Students who get their scholarships for various organizations like agaram get a 100% scholarship. They have their own criteria for that. My fee was around 1.5 lakh that's bcoz I was joined through the fisherman's quota.
Campus Life :
We have a very friendly campus, the library section is so huge and has everything thy we required to refer for our studies. The classrooms are very modernized with projectors for visual learning. The biggest highlight of our college is the yearly cultural that is been held in a grand manner. The symposiums and the various events that are held are also good.
Hostel Facilities :
The food in Sathyabama is way better than compared to the other colleges. They provide with non-veg almost five days a week. The mess is cleaned almost every half an hour. The hostel rooms are not very modernized but it's not bad either. The only problem with the hostels is the time when floods our then water would reach the ground floor rooms. Hope they figure a way to prevent that.
