Remarks :

I applied for BSc mathematics at st Thomas college in Thrissur. The admission the based on the rank basis of the rank list issued by the college. The average minimum mark for admission is 93%. The students who are entitled to joining management quota was called on another day for their admission procedures

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was always enthusiastic about mathematics with physics. I wanted to learn a bit further more about mathematics. So, I opted for a BSc in mathematics. There are about 12 faculty in guiding about 49 students. That is 3:1. The faculty members are extremely interesting and active in teaching as well as guiding each and every student.

Class Size : 43Course Fees : INR 8000 per year

Placement Experience :

St Thomas college assures its students in gaining placement in various companies. About 63% of students who had joined in placement cell, had been opted to various companies such as Infosys, Wipro Bijus, pdf solutions, MRF, and banks like federal bank and south Indian bank.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As per the fees policy, a student has to pay a sum of Rs 3000 per semester and students who are opted on the basis of the reservation have to pay only 1500 per semester. The college offers various scholarships to its students in helping them. Scholarships for both minorities and students who have manifested their potential in excellence.

Campus Life :

There are various club activities for the students to engage in their campus life. There are various clubs such as film club, cooking club, reading club, drama club. Which helps to express their capabilities in other activities too. The college has both Ncc and Nss in moulding future generations.

Companies like TCS (3.33 LPA), Accenture (3.44 LPA), ICICI prudential life insurance (2.85 LPA), Intellipaat (7.25 LPA), Goan institute international consociation of education, Arvind fashions (2.66 LPA), Tenzotech (2.4 LPA), Chegg India (3.6 LPA) offer placements. This is the placement list of 2024. Here 7.25 LPA is the highest package. Companies place students in their companies based on personal interviews and tests. Only students with no supply at the time of applying for this placement can appear for tests and interviews. Near 50 percent students got placements and many other students opt for higher education and other jobs.
