Kannur University offers UG, PG, and Doctoral programs in the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, etc. Admissions to UG/PG programs in the University Teaching Departments/Centres will be made on the basis of the Online Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). - Hostel: There are hostel facilities Available for both boys and girls in the Mangattuparamba campus. The hostel is located on the Kannur University campus of 21.73 acres. The hostel is equipped with all the facilities necessary for the comfortable life of students.

The admission in this college is based on the entrance exam KEAM conducted by Government of Kerala. Students who passed 12th in science stream can attend KEAM exam. And polytechnic students can get admission into second year by lateral entry.There is seperate exam for that.

The admission procedure are not complicated and it's okay to do. We can see all updates in their university website. We can see the all announcements in the website. We will get the all semester marklist in the last year so we can go for other studies or jobs. We will get scholarship if we have any reservations. Exams are conducting on time and results too.

to be a part of GEC WAYANAD is to be clearing of keam. It is a entrance exam conducted by state of Kerala for enrollment of students in colleges. The cutoff rank is about 35k for general 50k for SC/ST. Reservation benefits is available. For a SC/ST student low rank is enough for getting seat in the college. That is upto 55k approx. Keam is not so tough comparing to jee and neat. If we try a little hard we can crack keam by a big score and getting good colleges

- Good atmosphere for students . Highly qualified and experienced teachers makes students comfortable and they stay with students tills the course is completed.Teachers are ready to help students even at late nights.i really suggest kannur University.
- The only negative I found is delay between practical and semester exams.also waiting time for arrival of the result are bit high compared to some other nearby universities.Still the main aim of University is making students future safe and secure

- Result publishing time is too high.also there is long between practical and non practical exam.also complementary labs will happen only 1 in 4sem makes things difficult to remember..for example my 1,2,3,4 semester complementary lab happened ath 6 sem
