Newman College, established in the year 1964, is a catholic institute located in Thodupuzha, Kerala. It is affiliated to Mahatama Gandhi University and accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. The college is an aided institution that also runs a few courses for IGNOU through distance education mode. It offers various UG, PG and Doctoral programs in many streams. Newman College Admissions
The admission to the college is done on the basis of a centralized allotment process (CAP) of Mahatma Gandhi University. The university conducts separate processes for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs namely UG CAP and PG CAP respectively.
Eligibility Criteria:
- UG Courses – Intermediate graduate in relevant discipline from a recognized board
- PG Courses – Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university

admission process were not that much hard or complicated.there weren't any entrance examination only higher secondary is required foe application criteria.doesnt got any reservation benefits in admission process.

- I like the ambience of our college.the students are pretty cool.
- I like the teachers and faculties in our college. They are really hardworking.
Dislikes
- The management behaviour on raising funds from unfair way of imposing fine on small things.
- The management dont allow the students to spend some time in the college other than studying.

The admission processes for newman college are pretty easy from my experience, no lags or delays from the administrative side. We dind the application form, information of fees and dates are also available in the office. Yeah reservations are available for special category of students like sc,st, oec etc..

- It has an indoor and outdoor grounds for sports

- Area in college is too less when compared
- Minimal study hours and less interval times

Admission was complicated but i got admitted on merit seat but i didnt got any reservation benefit because i doesn't belong to reservation category.we have payment in semester for self finance classes.

- University delays the certificates of students.
- No facility of recreation centre and much number of toilets

Criteria to get admission under MG University through online allotment. We can apply through management and sports quotas. 12 with the highest mark will get admitted. The application can be filled out online. No reservation. Allotment should be changed according to rankings.

- Buildings are good.
- Proximity to the city is one of the best things about this college.
Dislikes
- Faculties are absolutely living a century ago. None of them can efficiently use IT systems and not much knowledge about it.
- Very less exposure to the outside world and lack of knowledge about the recent trends in Finance (or any other respective departments)
Admission:
If you have someone as your relative in the church you will surely get the seat. Else give the donation. Go directly to Newman College for admission. Need staff who are a bit tech savvy. The current PCs are worse than Government offices at using computers and other new technology.

The maximum eligibility is plus two passes. The application form will get from the college office. Application fees and all details are described by staff. The seats are booked fastly, cause it is a good college. You will get community and management quota forms from the college office.

The admission criteria of our college are very simple the marks are above 70 percent will get admission in our college and the students must be over 18 years old when we get the admission in college next we have to pay the rupees in university after paying the university is we will get the admission memo. Present the admission memo in college then that mission process is finished.

I got by the merit admission, after the payment from the University the application have to present in the college. Then we will get admission it is a very simple process. The minimum qualification for this course is above 80 percent and they give all the information about the college and the exam. we can clear our doubts by asking them.

A great college that helps to build up our future with all the necessary things. I joined for the communicative English course with a maximum of 24 students and hence teachers were able to give individual attention to the students. I prefer this college because I used to hear about this college's excellence for years and was attached by the free atmosphere the college provides. it had more than required staff and teachers to meet the students' needs. a highly disciplined college and extremely clean and comfortable surroundings provide a much more great way of learning. The college also provides ample space for friendship both with the students and teachers. there is a tube channel in the name Newman Delights which uploads all the events carried out in the college. I highly refer to this college for the one who loves learning and friendship.

To be eligible for B.Sc Psychology you just need to have passed 12th from a recognized board and stream doesn’t matter.
