Remarks :

The admission procedure is based on marks obtained by the candidate and from higher to lower ranks. Once you get admission you need to appear for the entrance examinations of respective departments that you want to get major on it. It is good to appear in two or more departmental entrance examinations to be sure for your selection in any department that you want so far. After a couple of days, they declare results and you get to opt for your favorite department if you get selected in more than one department. After that your initial days in the department started.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The department of history is the best department in the college itself not just because I was from the department but one can understand after getting into the department. And there are also some reputed departments such as chemistry which is one of the best departments in all over colleges in Assam, physics, English, botany, zoology and so on. The number of students available seats in the history department is 20. The teachers are one of the best the HoD is very friendly you will come to know her well. The sessional exams are good and the teachers are quite helpful.

Class Size : 20Course Fees : INR 3000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The scholarships are for only reserved classes not for generals. The admission procedure is yearly and around 3000rs takes for admission as far as University's notification is concerned. There are no jobs that you provided by the campus.

Campus Life :

The campus is good and annual fests are also been held not only annual but also various kinds of fests are also been held. Lots of cultural and sporting events are been conducted and more you get to know after getting into the college.

Arya vidyapeeth college life as a student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose philosophy as my major course as I want to learn about the things we experienced and the way they are the curriculum prepares me well enough to overcome in my day-to-day life I haven't faced any need for improvement in the teaching method. Exams were indeed a difficult task as a student, we hardly had a week to prepare ourselves for the examination.

Best option in the 100km area

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BA because of peer pressure, but it wasn't so bad because you can go in any direction. Real world application isn't a thing of the course. But it can help you if you want to study further. Classes have digital boards, that's a plus. Each semester consists of 1 sessional exam and 1 final exam.

My course is of 3 year long duration. There's a total of 14 papers and each semester we get specific papers according to our sem ( ex: sociology of religion, sociology of gender, kingship, stratification, etc.) + we have a Generic subject. With generic in every semester we had a compulsory subject with our honors and Generic, indeed it was something new that we learned.

Biswanath college is awesome

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quite good but the course duration is very long the four where graduations fyug course is very long and the subject where much there are 7 subject total in our course the courses quite big but we are enjoying because in this course we are able to learn the science subjects, for example, VAC evaluated courses where we have given exam in disaster management and the ecosystem it also there is several subjects called MDC SEC AEC exam timing where also good and exam difficulty was hard in Vishwanath college there is no chance in Viswanath college to do copy or something illegal

Course Curriculum Overview:

About the course curriculum, I still wonder why they have to put science subjects on the course curriculum of arts students. They would say it's a basic course but it is definitely not. Those arts students came there to learn their main subjects. I think it is unnecessary to put sc subjects there plus it is not basic. Otherwise the main subjects' curriculum is pretty well organised and planned.

Though every colleges have their pros and cons, nothing us perfect I'm not also a good student but i love my college I'll give my best for my studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the subject english that is why I chose this course, I'm studying ba in English and i will do post graduation in also english, but in our department student teacher relationship is not good enough, I can't communicate with my department's professor as much. The other problem is last year we gave 3 semesters exams together in a year which should be held after 6months, I would like to request the authorities to give concern about that.
