Remarks :

The admission process was very good as it was conducted online and there was no waiting for admission and I don't have to stand in a queue to get my admission. Before admission, we have to clear the CUCET exam conducted by the University and we have to fall under the min marks. overall the admission was good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose MBA HRM because from start I have a keen interest in this department and always wanted to know that how HR work in an organisation. The students need to be selected from around 650 who passes the exam and only 50 vacancies were there and I got in 22nd position. The exam was for 2 hours and it was quite a competitive exam to clear.

Internships Opportunities :

We get quiet internship offers from many companies. Some companies are well defined in the market and some are startup companies which help us to learn things from them during the process. We get offers for internships from different banks like ICICI and AXIS bank. Some startup companies in Jammu like Jammu basket also gives us some internship offers to work with.

Placement Experience :

From the start of the 4th semester, the students will be able to apply for the placement in any organisation they want. We do get to have experience in our internship which is conducted after the second semester which also helps us to gain experience for our upcoming interviews and jobs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure was pretty less as compared to other universities for the same course. I have to pay around 30000 for my admission and 1st year. If the seat is paid seat the admission fee is much high as compared to the normal fee.

Campus Life :

I don't know much about the campus life because due to the covid pandemic we didn't get to visit our campus as the university was close. But what we learn and hear from our seniors is that the campus is quite good and a healthy environment is there around.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from the 4th semester in PG courses. Decathalon, ICICI Bank, and a few other companies visited as well. Few offers were made like 4 from ICICI bank and 2-3 from decathlon. The above-average package of 2-3 lac per annum was offered by ICICI bank. The average was 1-2 lacs per annum. Almost 10% of students got placements. I had plans to get employed during my degree but I couldn't because of the lack of exposure.

Placement Experience:

The placement process starts from the 2nd-semester form where we get our internship and from there we can go for pre-placement offers. Moreover, we are also given opportunities in the 3rd semester where we have a lot of option and can grab a placement. The average package is about 5 -7 lakh. The percentage of students should be at least 60%.
