Remarks :

Initially, I have applied for the business school, Jammu University but I did not make it to the final list and MIET comes under Jammu university that why I opted for it. For admission, you should be graduated and appeared either in CAT or MAT. After that fill the admission form online and you'll get a mail for GD & PI

Course Curriculum Overview :

I did my graduation in business administration and that's why I opted for MBA. The faculty in MIET is great. They use to teach us via ppt's and always pushes us to give our best. Talking about the exams, they conduct mid sem tests and major exams in each sem.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like HDFC AND ITC gave us internship opportunities, our work was mainly related to sales. I worked in ITC and got 10000 INR as a stipend. However, the work was very hectic and was purely sales related. The task was to sell B NATURALS juices to the maximum market

Placement Experience :

Pre Campus placement starts at the beginning of the 3rd sem. Recruiters from these companies likE HDFC, ICICI, ITC, water health etc visited here for campus placement. The average salary package is 4 LPA to 10LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no scholarship program for students. The course fee is about INR 78 THOUSAND. the campus is great and provides placements to the students during my time period, there were 90% placements and almost every student got placed

Campus Life :

MIET has been organizing techno-cultural fest "SAMMILAN" every year. The classrooms are fully functional and have projectors installed. Every year inter college competition happens on the campus. Overall you'll experience a great campus life

Interview Experience :

Our GD and PI took place at jammu university . The topic of my GD was Aritifical intelligence and its impact on business . After that our personal interview happened and they asked us some questions related to our background and other general basic questions . I started preparing for all of this a week before and took some help from my sister and youtube

Other Applied Colleges

The business school, jammu university | MBA

I did not make it to the final selection list

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from the 4th semester in PG courses. Decathalon, ICICI Bank, and a few other companies visited as well. Few offers were made like 4 from ICICI bank and 2-3 from decathlon. The above-average package of 2-3 lac per annum was offered by ICICI bank. The average was 1-2 lacs per annum. Almost 10% of students got placements. I had plans to get employed during my degree but I couldn't because of the lack of exposure.

Placement Experience:

They offer placements but the package is low, during my time most of the students got placed in HDFC bank and there are other brands as well like ITC, ICICI etc that come for placement here but again the package is not that great, the average package is 3-4 lac. however, students were asked to go for off campus placement as well. I myself got placed in HDFC from the university only and worked there for 2 years.

The highest package is 420000 and 320000 is the lowest package the companies provide here. 50-60% of students get placed and it totally depends upon the caliber of the students how they crack the interview. Placement Experience:

The placement process starts from the 2nd-semester form where we get our internship and from there we can go for pre-placement offers. Moreover, we are also given opportunities in the 3rd semester where we have a lot of option and can grab a placement. The average package is about 5 -7 lakh. The percentage of students should be at least 60%.
