Remarks :
I applied for MTech in NIT Calicut using my gate score. I was shortlisted in CCMT counselling based on my gate score. The admission was done online by verification of my documents online dues to Covid. We have to also pay 1st-semester fees which were around 45000.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I want to do MTech in Computer Science and Engineering. I want to get placement in big tech companies. The faculty-student ratio was good around 1:4. All the faculties are very well qualified, almost all of them are having doctorates from reputed universities. Exam happens according to the academic calendar and the difficulty level was medium.
Internships Opportunities :
Students are provided with lots of internship opportunities. An internship of 3-6 months is provided. Different companies that visit for the full-time roles also give intership opportunities to pre-final year students.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement is very good in our college. The percentage of students placed every year is around 100%. Big tech giants also come to college. In this pandemic also campus placement is not got affected. The highest package offered is around 35 lakhs and average around 17 lakhs. For more details, you can also go to the NITC website.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure of our college for the MTech program is as follows 1st semester - 45000, 2nd semester - 37000, 3rd semester - 40000, 4 semester - 37000. We are given financial assistance of 12400 every month on the basis of scholarships given to Gate qualified students.
Campus Life :
Campus life and campus is very beautiful. All the facilities are there needed by a student. There are different clubs are there related to sports culture and other activities. The library has a vast collection of books and journals. Playground swimming pool badminton hall table tennis basketball courts volleyball courts etc are different sports facilities. There are many cultural and technical fests happen like Ragam Tathva etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is very nice and with all facilities. Good hygiene is maintained. All hostel contain their own mess. There is around 8-9 hostel. Food quality is also good. We are given 4 times meal. Registration for the hostel is done online by paying fees in advance. In locality outside campus, pg rooms are also available.
