Remarks :

To take admission, University accepts MAT/CAT scores, and if you have more than 60% in graduation then you can directly appear for GD and PI. I had taken admission during the pandemic time so there was online GD and PI. Any graduate except fine arts can apply for admission. University only offers full time courses, yet part time courses are to be introduced. GD was quite good and interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculties are so good, well experienced with PhD degrees. Faculties are very helpful and cooperative with students. The curriculum followed by the university is IIM based, Endagogy is followed in class, Live interactive classes are preferred. Every Classroom having smart projector boards. Students taken in MBA course is 30 so student teacher ratio is good. Lots of presentations and assignments as like any other B school.

Internships Opportunities :

SIP is offered as per student's specialization in different organizations like Banks, ONGC and other companies. Grand project for our batch is to create an own company, I feel it will help us to be an entrepreneur.

Placement Experience :

Placements start from the 3rd semester, Companies like Amazon, Baja fin, Bandhan, Axis, ICICI etc are prime recruiters. Sometimes university organizes placement events with other universities jointly. I have not completed my course so I cant share my own placement experience.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees for the course were 150000 ( 1 lakh 50 thousand). Due to covid 19, Assam govt. Reimbursed 1st sem fees for Assam domicile students when we took admission. Other Govt. scholarships are available. Students can apply for any of the schemes.

Campus Life :

Due to covid 19, no fest was organised yet. (Writing this on 14-07-21). University is running on a temporary campus, in permanent campus construction is going on. University has a computer lab, conference room, Library etc. Books are available for every school in the library. Students are asked to form a cooperative society as a part of the curriculum and every student is a member. No sports event was organised for the academic year 2020-21 due to covid.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is not that good.to book a hostel, one must fill a form and deposit fees for 1st month that is 5000 rupees. Food is good, tasty typical Assamese and Indian food is offered in the hostel. The hostel is very nearby to the University.

Interview Experience :

GD topics were based on the economic crisis due to covid 19 in India. And PI questions were based on students graduation subjects and interests. For example, what's your hobby and any questions from graduation subject. In my case, I was asked what is roasting.

From 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placements and can apply to the companies they wish to. Some of the companies that I remember right now are PWC, KPMG, axis bank, ujjivan bank, Vodafone idea, pantaloons, Bajaj Allianz, Tata AIG, Flipkart, etc. The highest package was of PWC. The average package of the placements were around 350000 -400000 per annum. More 70% of the students were placed and some of the students didn't want jobs as they were interested in further studies.
