Remarks :

My Admission experience is that I applied to the Vit University in the application Portal on the websites. I got 998 ranks in VITMEE. They called me for the counselling process. I Came and attended the counselling chose M-Tech(Computer science engineering). The administration was decent.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As personally, I wanted to go into the software field I felt this course helps me. There are all types of faculties (knowledge and without). Only one suggestion from my side is not to depend only on faculty. You have to spend at least 1 or 1 1/2 hours after the college hours to get knowledge. Mostly you will find PhD faculties and their teaching method is not also fine according to me. I would suggest they go with books rather than slides. for every 6 months, we have term exams. Few papers are really hard.

Class Size : 250Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees Structure in VIT University is that Catagory 1 is 150000 and category 2 is 210000. I got selected in Catagory 1 based on my Performance in the VITMEE and UG scores.VIT will offer scholarships in form of merit and finical assistance. They will select the top ten students from each class and give a scholarship of about 10k per student for merit.

Campus Life :

Our college boasts excellent infrastructure and decent hostel facilities. The quality of the food served in the mess and canteen is good. Classrooms are enabled with projectors, and the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Our college provides good medical facilities in emergency cases and in normal cases. Labs are up to the standard, and our college takes good care of the equipment.

Placement Experience:

The placements are so good after first semester based on the CGPA the companies will start recruiting in second semester. The highest package is 36LPA(including all benefits from company) and the average package is around 13 LPA. Some companies will ask above 60% and some will ask above 70%, 75% etc its based on the company

Why you should prefer IIT Madras over other IIT's for Mtech/Btech (CSE).

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cirriculum is perfect , machine learning is specialised here , course like Deep learning , PRML , linear algebra , AI offered here are best. Grade distribution is also fine here not as such burder , they give assignments and quizes.

Admission:

I am pursuing ME computer science and engineering course from AVCE.It is a two-year duration course with 4 specializations. Candidates who have completed BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline are eligible to join ME course. Admission to ME program is given on the basis of GATE/ TANCET scores. I got selected on the basis of my GATE score.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very nice. They often organise on-campus placement drives. Companies like grassroots,intelenet, Revol Softwares, Aqua groups, IDBI etc visit the campus with good job opportunities.

IICPT review for MTech Course

Admission:

Admission is on the basis of IIFPT Post Graduate Entrance Examination. A merit list is prepared on the basis of the entrance exam scores and overall academic performance of the student. I always wanted to join the institute for a bachelor’s, but opting for the Food Tech trade was a last minute decision.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is pretty decent. Many companies visited our campus this year compared to the previous batch. But still there is a lot of scope for improvement. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA. There is a placement cell which deals with all the placement activities. Students have to search for internships on their own.

Entrance Preview:

I took JEE, I got the rank 2439. I opted for this particular because It was largest and has good name in industry. Also it was close to home and food was to my liking. I found out about food by Alumni.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are very good centrally meaning consultancy, analytics, business etc, while in my department it could be better. General electrics, and core recruiters Hi-fi companies comes once in 2-3 years due to student leaving the companies after a few months for an entrepreneurship or startup. Highlight in Core recruitment: While Rolls-Royce was opened for M. Tech. Students in our department.
