Remarks :

Since IIT ISM was offering me the best branch compared to other good IITs this was ultimately my choice. Yes, I have availed OBC quota and had secured a category rank based on which stream were allocated. I am currently pursuing a dual degree from college. For admission into a dual degree, one has to clear JEE Mains and advance by a good score to confirm their seat. The admission process was from the Josaa website with 6 rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have a keen interest in chemical engineering and given my family background, This is the best stream suitable for me. Faculty: student ratio is about 1:25. Nearly all the teachers are holding doctorate i.e PhD in their courses. In online mode, They share PDF of the book, Notes and their PPT's. Term exams were continuous without daybreak. They were difficult to pass.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 1050000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

All big brands and top-ranked companies offer internships, mostly PSUs offer on-campus intern, however, students seek campus intern to get their desired roles in desired companies. Roled linked to coding, finance, management, core sector, health services are mainly present on campus while internships.

Placement Experience :

7th and 10th semester onwards students can sit for placements. All big brands and leading companies are coming to campus every year to hire students, from Microsoft to Wipro, from Morgan Stanley to Axela, PSU, from Deutsche bank to IDBI bank all companies come to college every year. The highest package 90 lakhs by Bloomberg London in data analytics. The average package is 16.07 lakhs as per the website for the year 2021. I'll go for research post my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

no fee hike policy in my college and it is 2.3 lakhs per year and 1 lakhs for the 5th year. Since my family income is low, I have availed MCM merit cum means scholarship via which my cost of the study is highly subsidized and paid by the government. There's no job for the first 4 years but can work as a teaching assistant in the 5th year.

Campus Life :

Srijan is an annual musical fest that is held in November and concetto is an annual technical fest, which is held in March. there are more than 1 lakhs books and journals in the library. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned equipped with a projector. All type of sports facility is present in college, like Olympic size swimming pool, huge football ground, indoor and outdoor badminton and lots of sports facility is present. There are clubs for each thing, from dance and drama to robotics and coding. All types of clubs are present in college.

Hostel Facilities :

A fan, bed, almirah, study table and a chair are present in a room. Both veg and non-veg are served in a hostel, offering a great variety of food, However, the taste is average. College allocates hostels and room number, compared to a private college, rooms here are cheap. All hostels are present on campus itself.

The M.tech students are eligible for campus placement in 3rd semester. There are numerous companies visiting the campus and most of the students receive employment opportunities.
