Remarks :
Either you are GATE qualified or you can give the college entrance exam. The one-day test is conducted over here by the faculties and documents are verified. You can go to the site of the institute and get the required information. For the masters, admission is done in the monsoon session and winter session.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The quality of teaching is very good and teachers are highly qualified. Labs are equipped with high-tech machinery and are very useful for research on any topic according to the choice of the students. in the last or second year, every student has to opt for a guide for their one-year master's project. Exams are half yearly and conducted on a semester basis and from time to time assignments, projects and power points are given to the students which are very useful for them. Exams are difficult to pass for those who do not study. Studious candidates can get more than 9 SGPA if they study properly because questions are asked on a concept basis.
Internships Opportunities :
You can get internships at Tata Steel and Tata Cummins. Both the internship requires an interview and a project on which a candidate will be working. College gives free software access to the students for their efficient project completion and they can discuss it with their guides
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible from the third semester during masters for their placements. The highest package was 24 lakhs in 2019. Students pursuing masters here get good opportunities for prevailing research in other colleges or in BIT itself
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are not as high as according to the course and benefits a student enjoys. If a candidate is from a low-income background he can either get scholarships at different grades starting from 8 SGPA or he can qualify GATE exam and can avail the benefits from the Ministry of HRD
Campus Life :
The annual fest is conducted thrice or four times a year. Students enjoy PANTHEON conducted in the month of September, BIT ANNUAL FEST in the month of February and many more. The central library is there with thousands of books and a computer room for online study. A hostel sports competition is held every year.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are equipped with both single seater rooms, double seater, three and four seater rooms. Students can opt according to their choices. Lan connection is given to every single student. Meal quality is awesome and good quality foods are served here and also maintain the health of the student.
Interview Experience :
Yes, Group discussion is done when a student is selected for a particular company. First, the candidate has to go for a written test and quality them and then comes the GD. These rounds are covered with the help of the guidance of professors and HODs.
