Remarks
I got to the college via counseling through the SC quota. I chose this college since it is ranked no. 1 private engineering college in Central India. After the counseling results were announced, I got a call from the college to be informed about the admission process. Fees and documents were to be submitted on the day of admission that was given by the college authorities.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course since I was interested in it. Civil engineering is quite fascinating. The faculty here is very helpful. Certain lectures are very interactive since teachers are able to explain nicely with all the knowledge they have and are able to grab student's attention. We have to give two mid-sem exams ( just like unit tests), 20 marks each. The one in which we get better marks is counted. The end sem examination is not so difficult( we have to answer 5 out of 8 questions) though you may call it a bit lengthy.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are included in the course. For instance, being a civil engineering student, Autocad and related software internship is included in the course. We have to get it done by ourselves. Also, the college helps too. In this lockdown phase, we got several opportunities to get certain internships done for instance CISCO internship etc.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year campus placements begin. Tata consultancy and various mass recruiters visit the college. I'm not so sure about it but product based companies visit too. Highest package was around 24 lacs per annum and average, I guess, is around 6 lacs/ annum. A lot of students get placements through college campus placements. We have training and placements department which starts working on students from the very starting to make them eligible for placements. The placements ratio is good so far. I'm not into private sector so I don't have any plans for college placements afterwards.
Fees and Financial Aid
You may call LNCT expensive I guess as fees for a year, of civil engineering, is 1,13,000. That means 4,52,000 for the complete course as engineering is a 4 years course. Scholarships are available too. It's just that you need to have knowledge about it already.
Campus Life
Alternatively, tech fest is conducted in our college. The classrooms are big and good enough. The library is great too. There are certain college groups like sports club, music club (Aayat), Raahat club, etc.
