VCEW is a cost-effective college

Remarks :

I had applied to many colleges and received a call from VCEW. I have mostly applied to the colleges based on my mark merit. There weren't many admission criteria as I had just got out of college when they had accepted my application. We had a short counseling program about the major course of our choice, which in my case was ME.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I had planned to continue the course of BE into ME to get my Ph.D. we have almost a minimum of 3 teaches per 100 students. Most of our faculty are experienced professors with a well-completed Ph.D. degree. Most of the question papers were set in quite a standard. We had some difficulty dealing with the team exams due to the standard of the paper.

Internships Opportunities :

Infosys, Cap Gemini, ICICI bank, etc are the most visiting companies, and they have earned a lot of employments from the internship offers. The internships are the only thing available with or without a stipend.

Placement Experience :

5th semester (BE) until the 2nd semester (ME) the students are eligible for campus placements. 65% of the students usually get selected in the placements. My plans after my degree are to complete my Ph.D. and to get into a research field.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure in VCEW is very cost-effective, pays a good effort along with a basic fee value. There are many available scholarships based on merit as criteria. The students who suffer from poverty are helped with their finances for the continuation of college. There are issuable job interviews and annual campus interviews are there.

Campus Life :

There are many social-cultural activites that allow us to explore and discover our talents other than our usual study schedule. We have well-defined and structured libraries for every course and majors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is good , like all other institution education is bookish practical projects are less so people will find hard in placements because company expect you to be more practical.Relative grading is the other factor i found it more inappropriate since how grade depends on others as well, that is bad.

Admission:

I am pursuing ME computer science and engineering course from AVCE.It is a two-year duration course with 4 specializations. Candidates who have completed BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline are eligible to join ME course. Admission to ME program is given on the basis of GATE/ TANCET scores. I got selected on the basis of my GATE score.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very nice. They often organise on-campus placement drives. Companies like grassroots, intelenet, Revol Softwares, Aqua groups, IDBI etc visit the campus with good job opportunities.

Admission:

Admission is on the basis of IIFPT Post Graduate Entrance Examination. A merit list is prepared on the basis of the entrance exam scores and overall academic performance of the student. I always wanted to join the institute for a bachelor’s, but opting for the Food Tech trade was a last minute decision.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is pretty decent. Many companies visited our campus this year compared to the previous batch. But still there is a lot of scope for improvement. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA. There is a placement cell which deals with all the placement activities. Students have to search for internships on their own.
