"The baap college for Engg."- Aman Dhttarwal seriously guys this is the best college, the dream college, the reason I am exaggerating this because this college gives you the maximum opportunity to explore everything, you will have much time for extracurricular activities, you can flex yourself see what suits you, for the upcoming time, next best thing is its student union making student to participate in every decision making meetings, and there are a lot more pros. If I talk about cons I don't really find anything because everything is just fine like from the cheapest canteen to hostel , campus You can take admission through WBJEE , one day they will call you and will very your documents, and give you your admission number. Course Curriculum Overview :
My dept deals with power generation, transmission, and consumption. I had a keen interest in electricity and so I chose this department. The faculty teams are just awesome and very talented, from my view they have the deepest knowledge of their domain. during this lockdown, they are teaching us through ppt , and teach nothing less than regular classes. Exams were taken as normal, sem after regular 6 months, since they teach us so beautifully, they give questions of the same level (tough).
Placement Experience :
Jadavpur University is a tier 1 engineering college with top-notch placements. A lot of companies from various sectors like IT/software/ finance/ consulting / analytics/ core etc do visit the campus during the placement drive. Almost 100% of students are placed in all the branches Some giants visiting the campus: Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, IBM, PWC, De shaw, salesforce, BHEL, IOCL, GAIL, Texas Instruments, India Power, CESC, Adobe, and many more. Generally, big IT/ Analytics firms do not discriminate between the branches and allow them to sit for their placements so you can get a job in any field that you would like if you develop an interest in it in your college tenure. It all depends on your knowledge and skills.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No doubt admit that it's one of the most beautiful campuses around. Located in the heart of the city, and still managing well to isolate you from the typical city environment, JU can provide you the best of both worlds. While the lush of green may welcome you at Gate No 3, you may enter blushing at Gate No 4 ;-) The very first thing that comes to my mind on being asked about the JU campus is "It's full of life!" Whether it's 10 in the morning, or 9 at night, irrespective of the day, you will always be finding some people or the other to give you company. Since JU has Engg, Arts and Science faculties all on the same campus, you can also come across various kinds of people. And in most circumstances, they do not make you feel like a stranger.
