Remarks :

It has the best ROI across all B Schools in India. It has a great alumni base, highly successful alumni. It good Placements. DU North campus. Degree from Delhi University. I getting to complete a full-time MBA in 32000. Good pool of recruiters. Tag of the elite Delhi School of Economics. Getting to study with a good pool of students/classmates (>93percentile on CAT for general category).

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty members are highly read talented individuals. Graduates from top tier colleges. The majority of them are PhD. A lot of professors are themselves MBA. Teachers are quite helpful and support issues outside curriculum as well, are very supportive and adjusting in general. I haven't experienced classroom teaching yet, classes are held online. Teachers use a mix of case-based and ppt based approach to teaching. Regular class participation. Regular presentations by students. Exams are easy if you've been an active student. Paper checkers expect you to quote as many examples as you can to substantiate and supplement your answers and the same example citation approach is followed in the classroom lectures. Online Open Book Exams were held for session 2020-21 owing to Covid. Exams were purely conceptual. You can't really copy and paste stuff from the internet.

Internships Opportunities :

2 months of summer training is compulsory. Companies start recruitment drive from the very first semester itself for summer training. Highest stipend offered is around 1,80,000. Top companies such as Tata, RPG group, JP Morgan, ICICI Bank, Welspun Group, Anand Group and etc recruit summer trainees from DSE MBA.

Placement Experience :

Companies start coming in from the first semester itself to recruit summer trainees. Godrej, ICICI, TATA, Anand, JP Morgan, Welspun RPG group and etc recruit summer trainees. The highest stipend offered for Summer Training is around 1,80,000. The highest package offered for final placements is around 25,00,000 per annum and the average is around 11,00,000 per annum. ICICI, JP Morgan, Tata, JK Tyre, JK Paper and etc recruit for final placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Very pocket friendly. MBA would cost you around 32000 for the complete degree. Scholarship usually not a requirement owing to the low fees. Student enrichment fund (optional) is required in addition to the tuition fees. This is for the extracurricular activities and is managed by the students.

Campus Life :

No offline events took place during my time, till now, owing to the Covid scene. Otherwise, DU, north campus particularly, is very lively and you won't find a dearth of cultural events any day. Being a student of DU, you'll get entry into any DU fest on presenting the official ID card. The student enrichment fund is used to organise a number of activities both co-curricular and extracurricular including but not limited to guest lectures, competitions, batch trip, alumni dinner and etc. Ratan Tata library @DSE. Online library, past year question paper maintained by student bodies to help with exam preparation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is detailed and mixture of theory and few practical approaches. We learn through various case based approaches and various assignments are provided. But one thing is following the DU ritual, half of classes gets cancelled.

One of the MSPs of the college is the placement records. The average stipend is 15 LPA which is commendable for colleges in this league. The summer placements went really great and the entire batch got placed within about 5-6 weeks.
