Remarks :

I qualified jee and, I didn't have much better rank, so I got a low branch in MNIT, but for the better branch I enrolled in csab, there I got NIT Arunachal Pradesh. I got the ECE branch. I didn't actually research the college, that was my only mistake. It does have a great location but it doesn't have very good faculties. Usually, many students like me have high expectations, which results in disaster for students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I searched Google like others, there I saw ECE on number 2 after CSE, so I thought it's ok. About my college faculties, I don't know & don't care what's the actual ratio is, but I know this nearly every professor sent their PhD scholar to teach us, that was a total disaster as they didn't have any experiences. Some of the professors didn't come to one single class. I am only giving it 4 because some of them were really nice otherwise I would have given it 1.

Course Fees : INR 63600 per year

Placement Experience :

If You are really devoted to studying, you can get placed around the 6th semester, NIT Arunachal Pradesh doesn't have a very good placement record in last year but many prestigious companies also goes there like Mahindra, Wipro, Polaris etc. It doesn't have a great percentage so I am gonna be an entrepreneur. You should aim at startups too.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As it is an NIT, it does have a fair few for everything, About scholarship, there is a cell devoted to that. The scholarship cell of the college will provide regular information about the scholarship. The college will provide the teacher contact number for any queries. About opportunities to earn some money, you have to rely on your extra skills, I don't think college will do anything about it.

Campus Life :

These areas are not so developed in NIT Arunachal Pradesh but it contains the fair number of clubs and extra activities groups. You don't have to worry about the library, it will fulfil any requirement you have about books.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college is average, as the location is remote only a limited number of companies visit for placement. - From seventh sem students become eligible for campus placements. - The highest package offered till now for on campus is 19lpa by C-Dot and average package is 8lpa. - Students getting placed differs from branch to branch , in cse almost every students gets placed who are eligible. - Also i am planning for M.tech if i do not get a good placement.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh - An Honest Overview

Placement Experience:

From 7th Semester students are eligible for campus placements if they dont have a backlog as many companies do not allow arrays in the semester. The companies visited are Deloitte , Alstom , HCL , TCS etc. Almost 100 percent students are placed in my college I would join an MNC after getting a degree

The placements are good so far and every year at least 80% of students get placed and the companies that come to give placements are mostly core companies. The average package every year is 8LPA. So I do have a plan to sit on placement.

Remarks:

It is the best technical College in our state and the course I took was good for developments in our state as it is an agriculture based state. Students from various parts of North East come here through entrance. Seats are there for all India students too.So NERIST is full of diversity in culture,caste and race.It provides B.tech,B.sc,MBA, M.tech,M.sc,P.hd program.The course I took was Agricultural Engineering.It was a much needed course in our state which directly depended its economy in agriculture.
