Remarks :
The college is best for BSc in Physics in Goa and easy to reach as well as the bus service is on time and the teaching staff is great. Also, the admission process is managed smoothly and nicely by the college office staff. The college infrastructure is also appreciable it has best peaceful and studies full environment for students and also there is a place for sports and other activities that the Gymkhana. The canteen is also good. The college is filled with trees and open air. The admission process is really simple we have to take the brochure from the office and with that only we will get the admission form that will be for 700Rs. And then we have to fill that and submit it and then we will get a call from the university as soon as the admission is completed based on the merit list of the students. The reason to prefer this college over others is that it's easily accessible on time even for an 8 am lecture I could reach without any hustle. And also because it's the best college for science.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always loved Physics that and I wanted to learn more so I decided to choose to study more in physics that's why o choose BSc in Physics. All the faculty members are great and really helpful in nature like bhao from the office staff always helps in whichever way possible for him. And all the teachers are also very supportive. Also the teachers are highly qualified almost all the teachers are PhD holders and really skilled at what they teach. They use different innovative methods to teach the students in all possible ways like they use ppt, models, videos, live demos, etc. And the exams were held always on time and was easy to clear if you had paid attention in class.
Placement Experience :
I want to study further so ill be taking the IIT Jam entrance for MSc in Physics in IITs. But for others who want to work the college makes a wats app group where they keep pn posting jobs and other opportunities for students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for the first year was 7780Rs. For 2nd year it reduced to 5560Rs. And for 3rd year it reduced to 3450Rs. And there was examination fee as well that we were supposed to pay that was around 1200 per semester for semester end exams only. The scholarship was given to those students who secure 75+%in their 12 from goa board. The scholarship was 25k per year. There was no job on campus with a stipend.
Campus Life :
The held a lot of events like 'Creations' 'Ebullence'. And also Janmashtami Dahi Handi is a various event that is held also sports day teachers day and all such days are also celebrated in the campus. There are also quiz and Science day and other science events which happen throughout the year. Events like creation and ebullience are held around Jan to March. And also the college teams participate in all possible events organised by other colleges. The library is open for all with all the books the students might need. There are innovation club and quarks club for physics students and the cultural club also and many more.
