Remarks :
College was very good. The teachers were good and always supportive. The whole faculty, our Director, the teaching staff and even the office and clerical staff were always nice to the students. In all, I had a great experience in my college.
Entrance Preview :
I gave the UIIT entrance exam.I scored 105 out of 200. I opted for this college because I learnt about it from relatives and friends and of course I too wanted to do Engineering in Information Technology.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course structure was pretty good. The teaching faculty was nice and teachers taught efficiently. I can't say that the course syllabus was awesome because it was lacking somewhere in 4-5 subjects whose syllabi was not revised. Faculty was very good, intelligent and cooperative. Teaching standards were good.
Internships Opportunities :
No. Our college didn't provide stipend. We had placements and companies came and hired students from the passing batch. Companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Interctive Brokers, smartdata, i-gate came in our campus.
Placement Experience :
Placements are very good according to my 4-yr experience. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, I-Gate, smart data, Interctive Brokers and few more have visited our campus and got our students placed with a pretty good number. I can't say it was a 100% placement in my time but a huge majority of students got placed last year. Students also get placed off campus and that too gives credit to the college, the faculty, and the students themselves who are a part of that college.
College Events :
We had our Techno-Cultural Fest named 'Utkarsh' every year. In the fest we had technical events like -coding, NFS, fifa and many more. In the cultural side we had - dancing competitions such as footloose, dharohar, bhangra etc., singing competitions including war of bands and solo too. Management in the fest was good and upto the mark. Participation from various colleges was good.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure was feasible. It was like around 33500 in odd-numbered semesters and 42500 in even-numbered semesters. We had no hostel facilities. Some students were day scholars and some had PGs. The rents were like ? 5500-6500. We had all the basic facilities that one student requires in the PGs. We had food three times a day. We also had wifi facilities there. It was a nice experience living in PGs.
Fees and Financial Aid :
No idea about the loan facility. But yes, our college provided scholarships for 5 students every semesters. The students allowed the fee Weaver were : Two girls with highest percentage in their 12th class results. Three students with financial problems or those who are under IRDP category.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio was like 1:4 in a batch. Girls were about one-fourth of the total students in a class. Our campus life was pretty awesome. We had our best lives there. Extra curricular activities like games indoor and outdoor both such as football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, carrom, chess and many more were always encouraged. Debates, declamations, extempore etc. were frequently organised every semester.
Alumni/Alumna :
We had very cordial relations with our seniors. They were always helpful throughout our engineering degree of 4 year. They had regular interactions with us and guided us with all help ans support they could. Helped us during the peak time when placements were about to start.
Exam Structure :
Course was nice. We had semester system. We had two sessionals (mid-semester exams) in all. Final semester exams were conducted in the months of June and December. Yes, labs were frequent enough to make our concept s clear. There were 3 labs in a day. But, it was not too hectic for us.
