Teachers of the college are very hardworking and helpful. Teachers are ready to help any time even during the off hours.
College is located in the lap of nature, having beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains,lakes and different categories of trees.

College contain less no. of trades in engineering. Only the selected and normal trades are there.
Lack of teachers of the subjects that are enrolled to students during their semester.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I intersted in engineering field and wanted to be a reputed engineer especially in electrical field so I chossed electrical engineering. In the school time inhave gone through many electrical projects which also triggered my interest to peruse my future in this branch. The curriculum of my College work on practical knowledge. Often tests and training of the courses can improve the course curriculum. Our college curriculum contain necessary training periods for the specificed days according to their respective branches. Teachers can teach in better ways by giving practical knowledge. Showing daily life problems. The core subjects of the respective branches can be taught in a better way by showing their related example and taking students to the different visits like electrical students to power plants , civil student to constructional sites...

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

The year wise fees I pay is 60000 Library fee - 200 Medical fee - 300 Nss fund - 100 Ncc fund - 150 Internet fee - 1000 Campus development fund - 1500 Hostel rent ( per semester) - 900 Electricity and water charges - 2000 Tution fee - 15000 University fee - 2000 Sc,st and other category students also have to pay same amount of fee. There are many scholarship schemes in our college.

Campus Life :

There are many fests that are organised in our college like freshers party, different technical fests , exhibition etc... There are wide range of books biographies, autobiographies that are present in our college library. . Classrooms contains smart boards , projectors which helps the students to learn skills easily.. There are many sports facilities that are present in college campus such as cricket ground, volleyball court , badminton court, table tennis and many also.. There are many clubs and portal made by the students from college side that group the students and helps to study..

Admission :

I was first trying for best engineering colleges like NITs and IITs on my jee main score but my score is not up to the mark to get these colleges. So I applied to the hptu councelling and got admission in hydro engineering college bandla in electrical engineering trade . This college had better placement rates and facilities among the other colleges. I didn't get any rejection from any college I applied too .. i reserved my seat in some private college but I cancelled my that seat after getting admission in this reputed engineering college.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is 1:20 Faculty of our college are ready for any help for their students. Students can ask any question any time in any place.. The faculty I like the most is Er. Manik dogra . He is an electrical engineer and teaches basic electrical engineering subjects to the core branches. The faculty I didn't like the most is Dr. Sita Ram . He teaches machine related subjects to the core branches. His way of teaching is very bad . Lack of teaching skills he don't even use black board to write and demonstrate. He just uses ppts. There are 2 semester in a year and each semester contains two internal exams that are known are msts . The pattern is easy to difficult. Approximately 60 percent of the students are not able to clear all the exams.

Night Life :

There is a gym facility in the boys hostel. One cafeteria is also their in the college campus and 2-3 tuck shops.. College gate closing time is 7pm and hostel closing time is 6:30 pm .. The are many places to hangout like paragliding site, lover point..both these sites are situated arround 2-3 km from the campus area .

Life at IIIT UNA

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of IIIT UNA is good. The highest package of 2023 in IIIT Una was 60 lpa(off campus) and 45 lpa (on campus) . The average pakage was 15 lpa , and around 90 % of the student got placed, during the placement drive. The average pakage of IT department was 16 lpa. A full semester is dedicated for internship and to earn work experience. Many companies like Google, Facebook, nvidia,Amazon etc appeared into placement drive.I am also targeting such FANG companies.
