  • Fees is one of the big concern of almost all students of the college , as an institute of national importance they are charging too much fees, as compared with NIT , and other government colleges.
  • Lack of coding culture- It is based on my experience that I found the absence of coding culture in the college, as I have heard online, no hackerthons or competition are conducted to encourage coding.oding clubs are dead and only sports encouraged.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of IIIT Una is updated as compared to the subjects taught in NITs and IIIT. There is full semester dedicated to internship and to gain work experience. We use to study dsa from second semester , which is crucial to crack FANG companies. Every classroom has projectors and ppt is also provided. The exams are conducted twice a semester and minor tests along with practical are also conducted.

Class Size : 74Course Fees : INR 265000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship in IIIT una is quite sorted. A full semester is dedicated for internship and to gain work experience. Seniors usually refer juniors. These internships are paid internships.IIIT una has great connection with companies and company visiting nit Hamirpur also visit here Compulsory English classes are conducted to improve one's talkative skills

Placement Experience :

The campus placement of IIIT UNA is good. The highest package of 2023 in IIIT Una was 60 lpa(off campus) and 45 lpa (on campus) . The average pakage was 15 lpa , and around 90 % of the student got placed, during the placement drive. The average pakage of IT department was 16 lpa. A full semester is dedicated for internship and to earn work experience. Many companies like Google, Facebook, nvidia,Amazon etc appeared into placement drive.I am also targeting such FANG companies.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Tution fees per semester-?130000 Tution fees for first semester -?135000 Total tution fees for 4 years-?1085000 Hostel Fees per semester-?42000 Total hostel fees-?336000 Total fees-?1421000 for 4 years No scholarship is provided by the side of college. Only government scholarship and private scholarship you can avail if you will apply. No fee wavers are provided All categories General, obc, sc ,St have same fee structure as mentioned above.

Campus Life :

The campus of IIIT UNA is situated at about 10 km from main city , so it creates some problems, like buying stuffs, transportation etc. But in campus there are many things to do in free time. Like there are different type of sports, like basketball, football etc, table tennis is also provided and many indoor games. There are various clubs like- SARGAM -the music club. EPMOC-the social club AA ESH-the electronic club FORCE-coding club ZENITH-sports club Etc. These clubs conduct activities timely.

Admission :

I choosed this college, because on my jee rank 30900 ,I wanted to study computer science, so I opted for this college. IIIT Una has its own permanent campus, which is better than the IIIT established at same year. It provides hostel facilities. There are total 4 hostel in campus for every year. I applied for many other colleges in JOSAA but got this one. Admission process is quite simple you just need to get you JOSAA seat allotment letter along with the documents which are mentioned on the website to seek addmission.

Faculty :

The facilities members are good and well qualified and they help students. Facilities like Dr. Madan Verma, Dr. Satendra etc are well qualified and teaches a concept very well .Course and curriculum is advanced and modern. College follows a strict 75% attendence criteria. There are 2 major exams in a semester and some minor tests.

Night Life :

The nighlife at IIIT una is as usual than any other college. It is must to enter the in hostel before 10 p.m. and daily attendence at hostel is must.There is 1 canteen and 1 newly opened nes-cafe in our campus. There is requirment of ID card for exit from college. Himachal is full of exciting and famous places to hangout with friends,
