4.5 /5

Remarks :

1) proximity to industry 2) Relations with industry 3) Strong alumni network 4) Industry exposure through industrial visits and interaction with industry leaders/experts 5) Exposure/Oppurtunities to competitions and internships 6) Extracurricular activities 7) Placements

Course Curriculum Overview :

Right now the curriculum may not be such that it meets industry requirements but efforts are made to revise the curriculum on a regular basis. All the faculty members are highly qualified while some of them are also really effective in conveying the subject. Academics is given great importance in RVCE.

Placement Experience :

The alumni network of RVCE is pretty strong and wide, present in various countries. Many students end up clearing UPSC examination with flying colours. The placements are the highlight in this college. Most of the companies come with software or consultation related profiles.

College Events :

RVCEÕs cultural festival is the 8th Mile, which is the biggest cultural fest in Bangalore. Various events and competitions are held as a part of this fest which is a completely student organised one. The E-Cell of RVCE conducts various business/entrepreneurship related activities.

Campus Life :

Sports facilities are varied but not sufficient to provide for a large number of students. Library is well maintained with resources for various fields. Campus is 55 acres. though not very big, it is beautiful.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good . Placement for computer science branch is very nice. Average package all around branches is like 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. The highest package is around 27LPA. If we didn't get any placements means we need to develop more skills and attend and offline interview and get placed.

Placement Experience:

There is a mandatory internship for students during the summer break after their 1st year of MSc. BASE Placement Cell (BPC) is responsible to look after the placement and internship opportunities for the students. However, the students need to opt-in for their service or they can handle it on their own. The first batch will graduate in the year 2022 and hence there is no placement record for the same.
