My Journey in RVCA

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum was very much relevant as prescribed by Vishweshraiya Technological University VTU, Belgaum. We had theory subjects along with a design studio. And 2 months of internship after 2 semesters which was during the vacations after 2nd semester.

Placement Experience :

No. The institute does not directly provide any placements or internships. But, they encourage us to apply for various internships for industrial exposure. They even help us in building our portfolio and sending them to various reputed companies applying for recruitment.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

An amount of Rs.128,780/- is charged as a total fees for two years of M.Arch course from the students. The fees seemed to be a bit high for me, but compared to other colleges across the city, they charge very less.

Campus Life :

The extracurricular activities include sports like cricket and basketball. A well-maintained ground is present for the students to practice. The college also has a library for self-study and enhancement of knowledge.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is the only unbearable part of the institution. It needs a lot of betterment as it is impossible for us to indulge deep in studies in the prevailing environment of the college hostel. I hope that the situation will be looked into.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of the college is wide-spread and growing every year. The prestigious alums of our college are all well established with a fruitful life. The seniors are very helpful as they help us a lot in understanding the daily notes and coping up with the prevailing environment of the campus.

Admission :

After completing my B.Arch degree and having my desired score in GATE, I applied for my admission in M.Arch at RV College of Architecture. The results were later given out in the form of a merit list, on the basis of which I got admitted to this college.

Faculty :

The faculty is very hardworking and dedicated one. I am always supported and guided by the professors regarding my future pursuits. All my doubts during the lectures are cleared by the professors in the end of every class.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.
