What is the amount I need to pay for my complete education in B.Arch and then consecutively in M.Arch courses?

The total amount one needs to pay has a lot of components in them. These components are tuition fees, other college expenditures, hostel, mess, leisure expenditures and travel. If we were to think of only tuition fees, then for the complete B.Arch. course, the fees would vary in between INR 2 lakhs to 35 lakhs. For complete details on college fees, click here.

Would I be able to pursue a Bachelors and Masters level courses in the same college?

The college provides education for the students, right in Bachelorss and Masters Courses in Architecture. The admissions will be based on merit, rank, and score in the entrance examination as would be applicable for the respective course. I am not eligible for any of the backward and reserved categories. I do not have money. Am I applicable for any scholarships?

The college provides minimal scholarship options by itself. The Karnataka state offers scholarships for the reserved categories, Backward classes. The options for general categories for scholarships is minimal. But the option to apply for education loans is still available. Many financial institutions and nonbanking financial institutions offer repayment options after 6 months to 1 year of completion of course.

Does the college support research-related activities?

RVCA college is founded on research. Studying the existing city plans and bringing in developments; working on mini and demo surveys and creating new city plans. The main focus of the local area is developed along the Cauvery river, keeping Vernacular and contemporary Indian architecture in mind.The college also has a Model making workshop, construction yard on its campus. The college also has Fine Arts studio and exhibition halls to come up with avenues for new architecture ideas. Along with the same, research is promoted through studio workstations to work on various creative material.

Does the college have an Alumni Association?

The college has an alumni association. The Alumni caters to the personal and professional growth of the current students. The alumni has an international reputation with a cumulative strength of expertise and experience. The alumni give a collective voice of all the experienced and participate in the programs arranged by the college. Likes

College infrastructure which is realistic with Architecture
The design of the course and the way of teaching
Maintained well developed infrastruture in and around the campus

Dislikes

Not much sports facilities like no proper ground is their for sports
In hostel facilities is not much enough
Rule of hostel like last entry time in night is 8:0 clock

Placement Experience:

8th semester students are eligible for the placements ans some good companies as visited the college and gighest package offered was ?8,00,000 per annum and the students who tool the registration for placements was little less as many of the students step into the companies in their own during internship

Comprehensive review of architecture curriculum

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college and like proper use of spaces inside the college
Teaching method of faculty is really modern and very practically they make you understand things
Computer lab systems of college is really nice like they spent atleast 3-4 lakhs on each cpu of college to make software work

Dislikes

I don’t like the canteen part of the college like its very small limited amount if food is there
I literally hate hostel of this college space is waste food is bad rooms are very small no proportion
It’s just very less events or fests happens insude college that also is organised and funded by students

Placement Experience:

After 10 semester Students are eligible for placements. Yes,from last year they iffer on campus placements with highest package of 11 lakhs which is really good according to this course. average package is around 6 lakhs which is also decent. 15 out of 30 students could get the placements that is 50 percent. I am planning to pursue masters degree outside India after this course

adventurous journey with RV college of architecture

Remarks:

the college is giving good times with friends and the campus life the way i always wanted, but also hard time in academics but i think that is the case with every college. otherwise the environment is very much comfortable for everybody to study and have fun. faculty is incredibly good.
