Remarks :

It is ranked 71st by NIRF. It is an A grade college. Everyone wants to study here. People from cities all across India come here to study. Few fortunates get admission here. I am from Darjeeling and to study here is a blessing for me.

Course Curriculum Overview :

History is a vast and a very interesting subject. Our course covers topics from the beginning of history (prehistory) till the current modern times. Our teachers cover the whole syllabus in great detail. Handouts are distributed.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience :

There are a lot of job opportunities that come to Loreto College. Wipro wanted to recruit girls from our college. Also, Cognizant wants to hire girls.

College Events :

Campus of Loreto College is great. There is a lawn full of grass. There is a gym which has treadmills and cycles. There are table tennis and carrom boards in common room. Samagam is our annual fest which is a big hit.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 2nd Semester. HCL, OYO, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Dabur, ITC, BYJUs, etc. are brands that visit our college. The highest package was offered 9 LPA by OYO and the average package is somewhat around 4.5LPA. 80% of students are able to crack placements from our college. I am actually looking for an FMCG company after the degree from campus placements.

Distance education in nutrition

Remarks:

The college is a very old and well known one in West Bengal and being a part of the university has helped me learn the reason behind it. The staff and faculties of the college are so helpful and nice that it would be dream to a part of this institution.

Admission:

For the admission process I had to register on the official website and then check out the details of the course along with the eligibility criteria and the fee structure. After this I filled in my details and got a registration number and password through which I could log in and fill up the application form and make the application fee payment along with the first course fee.
