Remarks :

I didn't like the college at first. My parents however respected the college a lot. So, they put me into it. Then, i realised how wrong i was. It is one of the best colleges one can go to. There are so many subjects which the college offers us.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The academics are done finely. The curriculum is interesting. College hours begin at 8.30 in the morning till 5 in the evening. However the classes end by 3. Somedays it ends at 12. The faculty is good and puts in a lot of hardwork.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience :

Zomato and Cognizant come every year to recruit students. It also depends on what course you are studying and what kind of degree you pursue.

College Events :

The extracurricular activities taken place in huge numbers. We even have inter-college fests where a large number of students participate in. Samagam is our annual fest. We have a department fest named Historia as well.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 2nd Semester. HCL, OYO, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Dabur, ITC, BYJUs, etc. are brands that visit our college. The highest package was offered 9 LPA by OYO and the average package is somewhat around 4.5LPA. 80% of students are able to crack placements from our college. I am actually looking for an FMCG company after the degree from campus placements.

Distance education in nutrition

Remarks:

The college is a very old and well known one in West Bengal and being a part of the university has helped me learn the reason behind it. The staff and faculties of the college are so helpful and nice that it would be dream to a part of this institution.

Admission:

For the admission process I had to register on the official website and then check out the details of the course along with the eligibility criteria and the fee structure. After this I filled in my details and got a registration number and password through which I could log in and fill up the application form and make the application fee payment along with the first course fee.
