Remarks :

The main factors that encourage me to get admission in Jagannath Barooah College are 1) it is renowned and prestigious college of Assam 2) the teaching quality is excellent 3) A grade rewarded by NAAC.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The opinion on the course is very much clear from my side as I selected the course according to my own preference. The curriculum is student friendly and till now I didn't face any kind of difficulties. The academics are upto the mark and getting better every year. All the above is only possible and successful due to its faculties.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 8760 per year

Placement Experience :

I haven't taken part in any internship so far. But, in our last year of graduation at J. B. College, I took part in a project in a group of around 5 or 6 students. All of us were divided into small groups of 4, 5 or 6 students and each group had a guide under whom the project was carried out.

College Events :

Our college campus is ragging free campus that helps students to enjoy their campus life. College has NCC and NSS unit as a co curricular activities. College have many clubs which are associate with the sports, literature, cultural etc. College organise annual fest Anirvana.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really hard and it all depends on me how much I study because the teachers doesn't teach good. And there's 7 subjects in the course which is too much. The exams timing are sometimes too late or too early. And the questions papers are set really hard sometimes.

My elder brother studied in this college so I too took admission in this college so that we can go college together other than that good faculty, all my friends took admission in this college and classroom are big

Positive remarks are the teachers and the faculties and Negative remarks are many to be honest, right from no internships are provided, no placements. So for a job aspirant not much of a career building.

Admission is given on the basis of Merit, At first a provisional merit list of respective stream is prepared on the basis of 10+2 percentage after which personal interview will be taken after which final list of selected candidates are given on the basis of which admission process takes place

This college offers the best courses for students

Remarks:

The college has really good infrastructure and good facilities. The faculty is also very well educated and teaches the students very well. It has really good placements for the students as well.

Admission:

Just like majority of colleges in India this college also follows merit-based admissions system. So to be eligible for an admission the student has to pass 12th and 10th grade with really good percentage and then apply online for admission.

Great infrastructure and teaching methods

Remarks:

I really love this college it has a great atmosphere and infrastructure as well as the students in the college are well mannered and nice. The teachers in the college also teach the concepts very well.

Admission:

The college does not have any more of online application. To get an admission in the college the students have to physically go and get an application form by paying Rs.200 to the college and fill it up.

Remarks:

The college is very friendly, and donot let you miss your family. We have much freedom like wearing whatever we liked as it didn't have uniform. We can use our phones or laptops inside our classrooms for the study works. The teachers are good. The staff is also friendly. All over it is good. But few things need to be taken care of like the poor condition of the toilets and some classrooms are very dirty.
