Remarks

Best in the country for co-ed and in honors Program, Hindu is a great option. The college had been ranked continuously in the top 3 of the country by the nirf ranking system. Moreover since you got people from all across the country and even the globe at times, the exposure you receive is brilliant and life changing.

Course Curriculum Overview

I?ve found this is an essential component of a good syllabus. Talk about these goals the first day of class to set the stage for the semester. I refer to these goals at key points during the semester- before spring break or near the end of the term- as a way of marking progress through the semester. I often give the students a mid-semester course evaluation that is centered around these curricular goals (see a future post.). Making your pedagogical goals explicit engages your students in the process of their learning and helps them reflect on what they are learning and how the class structure is assisting them towards that learning.

Placement Experience

4

Various business giants comes to college for the recruitment purpose. Be it giants like bain, ey partheon, delloitte and many more. Even science stream students are being placed in byjus, akash and so

College Events

5

The college fest mecca is one the biggest and most pompous fest of the entire university. People come from all the places to dance to the beat on mecca night. The college also has a unique parliamentary system of election which also helps you understand more about the countrys system

Campus Life

Decent with a good ambient library beautiful lawns and spacious classrooms. Since the college had been built even before the 20th century there are things which give you a kind of architecture of the past feeling. Yet the place is so serene it forms the perfect launching pad for your career

Hostel Facilities

Getting the college hostel is hard because of the limited intakes but getting a pg is fine and there are wide options for the students starting from a mere 5 thousand to 25 or even 30 k per month are there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

There was no such provision of jobs or fixed placements however there was a placement cell which was quite active and hence there were opportunities for placements by contacting the cell and placement fairs were also organised that were open for all, but not many opportunities were given. The companies that took candidates were economic times, TOI etc paying a very basic fresher stipend of 10-15k. Very few students actually got to know about these placement drives hence the placements weren't great also not many companies came on campus.
