Course Curriculum Overview

Plant breeding and genetics is simple course with lots of learning about how to improve rhe production of the crops.Its a three year course.The study of plant breeding and genetics include feild visit more.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities are provided by the central Rice Research Institute.Internship are also provided to the final year students.The institute has krishi vigyan kendra also and expert team of scientists.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is feasible and any student can easily afford it.After admission in the college you get facilities that are extremely good.The fees for plant breeding and genetics is Rupees 75000.This amount literally feasible.

Campus Life

There are sports facilities which is provided by the institute tot he students also the laboratories and computer labs are well-maintained.There is canteen and library which have books related to the course also.Many events that revolves are farming are held in the institute.The Institute has won national awards too.And one of the good thing is they have women cell also.

Admission

After completing msc in plant sciences I thought of taking admission in CRR Institute. First time fill up UGC JRF NET form. CRRI selection process is based on the UGC JRF NET score and Interview. So for getting admission in the institute i studied hard.

Faculty

Professor provided to the students have high experience and well-trained.They try to give their best knowledge to the students and they are good in nature as they are really helpful.They give important lectures and also clear doubts of the students.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.
