The college is located in eastern India which provides students with beautiful and healthy environment to study and grow. An innovative range of programs are offered by the university that help students to get involved in commercial as well as service-oriented opportunities to bring a change for the better of their and the others.

Course Curriculum Overview :

BA degree program provides students instruction in the humanities, social sciences or liberal arts. This course is appealing due to its broad and well-rounded approach, which can offer versatility and options when choosing a career. The duration of this course at WCU is 6 semesters and the mode of examination is semester system.

Placement Experience :

B. Tech at William Carey university is a very good deal. The students are made well versed in their subjects and are provided with internship opportunities in which they learn many new things and develop their personalities too. The college provides with good job opportunities and placements too.

College Events :

Different types of events are held in the university like - SHOAH Holocaust exhibit, career fair, MAPE/PREPS partnership conference. Athletic calendar includes Basketball tournament for men as well as women, sports etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure of the university depends on the course you have opted for. However, the fees for bachelor of arts is very feasible and affordable too. The fees of per semester for Bachelor of arts is 16000 and there are total 6 semesters in the course, so 96000 INR is the total fees for the course.

Campus Life :

WCU offers around 60 extracurricular activities which includes both social and service clubs, honour societies and intramural sports. Campus organizations includes - The Student Government Association, The Gamma Chi and Pi Omega sororities, The Baptist Student Union, and many others. There is a special student activity office located in the student centre.

Admission :

Admission depends purely on the merit list. Applicants need to download the application form from the college's own website and a fee of Rs.500/- is required. The admission criteria regarding eligibility, admission procedure is subjected to alteration at any time and the decision of the Vice Chancellor will be final.

Faculty :

faculty members teach in this university and they are very dedicated towards their job of teaching the fellow students. Every teacher in this university is qualified and skilled in their field and works hard for the overall development of every child in the university.

Placement Experience:

Placements are provided but i haven't really minded it. As for me i would go for competitive exam such as SCC and work hard to get in. My goal is to only get a degree so i can give exams. I also hope that everyone knows which field they should go into.

Life in a decent college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is a professional course and its curriculum is pretty difficult. B.A.LL.B(Hons) is a 5 year course which spans to over 10 semesters. Some of th aspect that made me opt for this particular course is that one need not do a 4 year B.A. course and then 3 year LL.B course when one can do all that in 5 years. Additionally, after graduation from this course one can practice as an advocate directly after passing the BAR exams. B.A.LL.B(Hons) is a course which has both theory and practical. For most of the first two years pre-law papers will be taught to have a basic understanding of concepts and to build up a foundation for grasping the more complex papers to be taught in the higher semesters. This course also includes interning and this is implemented from the 1st year itself which is great exposure for students. The course however needs revision as it is pretty old. Exams can pretty difficult or easy depending on one's own capabilities and preparation as the paper can be tough.

Very good university.

Admission:

I got admission in this course after qualifying my Bachelor of computer application with 70 percent of marks. Any graduates from any discipline with minimum 45 percent of marks from a recognised university are eligible to apply for admission in this course. The admission process was very good in our university.

Placement Experience:

Internship facility was provided by the university. The university was average in placement and job opportunities. Many companies like Big Bazaar, Vodafone, Airtel, Max cement, BSNL, Pepsico etc come to our university every year for campus recruitment. They offered minimum salary package of 2.5 lakh rupees annually and maximum salary package of 8 lakh rupees per annum.
