Course Curriculum Overview :

The B.Com course covers the accountancy pointers taught all over the country, but since this college is exclusively for tribal students, there is excess focus on two extra areas- tribal economy and resource management.

Placement Experience :

The main vision of the college is to provide us tribal children with a formal education and give us bright career opportunities, which will help us win a livelihood! And thus, college brings over a number of companies to give us jobs.

College Events :

A number of events take place in the college as overall development falls under the vision and mission of our founder. We have events which signify the importance of tribal culture and heritage and we can greatly resonate with them.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences is the first university in the world which is exclusively for tribals. Our founder dreamed of giving us formal education, free of cost and he has kept his promise. We live and study free of cost.

Campus Life :

A lot of cultural activities take place from time to time to lift our spirits. Also, to educate us about afforestation and its benefits, we have a number of tree planting ceremonies. We also have lectures on the boon of literacy.

Admission :

For UG courses, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences does not conduct any entrance exam. Rather, the 10+2 marks under the CHSE board are taken into consideration. The students just have to log into the portal and apply.

Faculty :

The faculty put their hearts and minds into teaching us. Most teachers have taken up this challenge because of their passion and love for children.All of them go above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and we are catching on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this course students have to learn all the subjects for first two years. Hence they are open to all type of opportunities in future. Apart from pure sciences there are courses like computer data science and earth sciences. However the course is not industry oriented rather it is more research oriented.

Review regarding Nalanda Institute of Technology(NIT), Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

NCERT is the educational wing of Indian and RIE's are supplementing it. Rie bhubaneswar is produces the future teacher, teacher educator as well as researchers in field of education. RIE Bhubaneswar has different courses like - Integrated 4 year B.Sc.B.ed / B.A B.ed / 2 year B.ed / 2 year M.ed / Counselling and Guidance course etc. Rie Bhubaneswar has various department like DESM / EDUCATION / SPORTS etc.This institute focuses in overall development of students in physically, mentally, psychologically etc. It provides equal opportunity to participate in various types of cocurricular activities. It is one of the best platform to learn.

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.

KIDS - An In-depth review

Remarks:

The college is one of the best private dental colleges in the East zone. The infrastructure is top notch and the practical labs are very well maintained and supplied. The social and hostel life is just fantastic. However the fees might be a bit too high for middle class students and the location might be a bit bad.
